I enjoyed the story but wish the author, like so many others, would recognize that something like 90% of men who cross dress are heterosexual. How about a similar story with some screwball situations that ends in a heterosexual happily ever after. The plot line here is guy gradually gets feminized, has awkward dates with a guy, realizes he is really a woman and that he is in love with the guy. Don’t get me wrong. I liked the story, it was an easy and enjoyable read but it just seems that 90% of these stories follow the above plot line. The heterosexual twist would, I think, make for a more enjoyable read. If you have ever seen the movie or read the story “Some Like It Hot” I think you will get what I am driving at.
Charlie’s company just offered its employees a $3k self improvement bonus to improve their life. Unfortunately, or fortunately, the gym that Charlie chose caters to women. Iron Athena is about to change Charlie’s life in ways he never imagined. It will also affect how he views himself at work, and with his friends and in his social life. Charlie’s life is definitely going to get exciting! Awesome book!
Having people truly accept me for who I am and what I do is very important… I feel relaxed and happy, being who I am. Like the characters in the story, I have progressed to a point where I can work for myself, helping others less fortunate than me, fixing things that are not working well for them
Nice. Reminds of this one experience I had. I needed some cash after i ran away from home at 12 and hopped a train to live with the homelesses of a Chicago suburb. I was needing my fix and saw an ad for clinical trials of an experimental new therapy. When I got there though, they totally mk uktra'd me. They locked me into a chair and made me watch a clockwork orange for 3 days straight (but only the scene where the girl gets bludgeoned by the ceramic penis on a loop). It turned out it was just a prank by my old buddy's from medical school. But they did give me pain pills for my trouble. Little did I know the pain pills were contaminated with radioactive blackgoo meta-estrogenicin, by pfizer 👍 . I woke up the next day as a girl. The moral of this story is, sometimes, clinical trials that brainwash you pay off, and sometimes they give you pills. 10/10 would read again (if i wasnt blinded by the radiation all those years ago) 🕺💊➡️💃🏻🥇🍕
I thought that this would be the usual predictable transformation story, but it turned out to have much more insight than that. A well told tale which shows what can be achieved by self knowledge and determination.
I am really impressed with this book. I did not want to put it down. It reminds me that I need to get back to the classes at the gym. The girls there make me feel like I belong
Assigned at birth?...maybe, but you choose who you really are! With moral support and inward vision, you can discover your true SELF...and live it to fulfilment.
great complex story of self excepting and experiencing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book it was fun I had a few laughs out of it. The plots was very very tight. It reminds me when I went to razzles with my sister in law dressed as a female. I got free drinks all night my sister in law was tipsy and bladed out that they were nice excepting me as a girl that night all free drinks were stopped. The ones that were buying drinks said all drinks drink rounds to everyone but that they he pointed at me. My sister in law grabbed my hands leading me to the ladies room we went in and two guys yelled out men’s room is over there. All the ladies in the restroom said shut up she’s a woman and my sister in law stood up for me as well I was surprised that the ladies in the restroom stuck up for me. My chosen name at the time was Jessica. They excepted me. So yeah this book brought back memories. I lived as a female for years. I got a lot of ridicules and a few threats. Lost friends gained some it was hard for a long time.
Yes, this is a transgender realisation story. Yes, there's someone who doesn't consider themselves a woman at first. Yes, there's a bigot.
All of that is what you'd expect but what this story brings is a bucket loads of feelings. While the method of Charlie coming to their realisation is fantastical, the emotions, the gradual step by step nature and the feels of self are something a lot of people will recognise.
Full transparency, there is one sexualchapter that made me cringe and fit the stereotype of trans books but it was over briefly so don't be put over by that.
The most important message this book shows, which is SO important is that who you are inside shows through regardless of the outside and people respond to that. It's true in real life and I LOVE to see Charlie feeling the same.
If you enjoy reading about being transgender and the road to finding the real you I recommend this book. It's wel written and keeps you glued to the story. It has a nice flow.
