Get The Good, the Dad, and the Punny for your friends and family. After all, who doesn’t love a good dad pun? No one . . . and that’s no joke!
I am a big fan of Logan Lisle and his Dock Toc crew with all their dad jokes, and it always makes me cry with laughter. This book is just filled with some of their best jokes they have had on their show and is a quick read that will have you in stitches. Here are just my 3 favorites as examples:
Why did the scarecrow get an award? Cause he was out standing in his field.
I started telling everybody the benefits of eating dried grapes. It's about raisin awareness.
Why aren't koalas actual bears? They don't meet the koalafications.
Great book and highly recommended for hours of laughs in it.
My Goodreads Review of Dock Tok Presents: The Good, the Dad, and the Punny: Jokes from the Water’s Edge by Logan Lisle
🌟🌟🌟🌟
Living in a house with an insane amount of dad jokes, this was actually quite funny! Logan Lisle definitely knows how to craft a clever pun. Some jokes had me genuinely laughing, while others were more of a chuckle or an eye-roll (in the best way possible). Even though not every single one was a hit for me, I still appreciated the creativity and wordplay throughout.
Well done, Logan—this is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a good (or groan-worthy) dad joke!
Funny book, standard Dad jokes. There are, or course, no new ones, but the presentation is pretty cool. I enjoyed reading it and it as basically exactly what I expected. If you are a fan of bad or dad jokes, this one's for you.
This book is based on the Dock Tok online videos of Lisle and his friends reciting one-line jokes that are so eye-rolling that they make you laugh out loud. A quick and fun read.
