I got about 100 pages in and couldn't do it anymore. I really wanted to give Ms. Christie another try because I really WANT to like her writing! I love a good detective story, but these are so close to the Sherlock Holmes stories that they nearly feel like plagiarism. The sidekick character/narrator may as well be Watson, and Poirot is just Sherlock in another time period. Some of the plots are just absurd. Given that I also tried and didn't enjoy Murder on the Orient Express, I'm not sure I'll give her another shot. There are too many more enjoyable things to read.
