This title is the surgical companion textbook to the international bestseller Davidson's Principles and Practice of Medicine. A comprehensive textbook for the surgical student and trainee, It guides the reader through key core surgical topics which are encountered throughout an integrated medical curriculum as well as in subsequent clinical practice. Although sharing the same format and style as Davidson's Principles and Practice of Medicine, this text is complete in itself, thus enabling the student to appreciate both the medical and surgical implications of diseases encountered in surgical wards.

I read more than one third of the book, in general it was good I'd give it 3.5/5 points based on what I've read. I like the first part the most, then when I start reading the abdoman/ vascular/ transplantation parts some were ok some needed more information I think.
I think it's generally a good choice for medical students who like to read and understand not only memorize, but they don't want to read too much at the same time.
I like the fact that they mention webpages links when talking about guidlines and other things.
