Corta lectura que nos explica a grandes rasgos el viaje que realizó Leif Eriksson 500 años antes de la llegada de Cristóbal Colón a lo que actualmente conocemos como América, esto debido a la búsqueda constante de los vikingos de nuevas tierras para colonizar y que lo llevó a ser uno de los primeros europeos en pisar tierras de un continente hasta entonces desconocido para ellos.

I really liked this book. It was just the right length, simple enough language for a kindergartner to understand, and it was well written. The illustrations are nice too.

I would have liked to see more about their interactions with the Native Americans. As it is a history book, I would have also liked to see the resources used in researching and writing this book.

This is a very simple, easy to read biography about viking Leif Eriksson, Greenland chieftain Erik the Red's son and the first European explorer to have sailed to North America. We read this for our Middle Ages history lesson about the Vikings.
