Those who have read A Life God Rewards have discovered there's an infinitely richer approach to life -- an awareness that the smallest actions of every day have an eternal impact. Bruce Wilkinson has written this personal devotional for those who are eager to reach for God's amazing and generous best for their lives -- starting today! With thirty-one days of inspiring readings, true stories, thought-provoking questions, practical suggestions, classic quotes, and Scriptures, every day becomes a meaningful investment in eternity.
Bruce Wilkinson is recognized as one of the world's foremost Christian teachers and speakers. But he is best known as the author of the New York Times #1 bestseller, The Prayer of Jabez, and other bestsellers including A Life God Rewards, Secrets of the Vine, and The Dream Giver. He is the founder of WorldTeach, a global initiative to train Bible teachers in every nation. Wilkinson also founded Dream for Africa, a humanitarian agency that has taken on AIDS, orphan care and hunger in sub-Saharan Africa. Bruce and his wife, Darlene, have three children and six grandchildren. They live outside Atlanta.
Everything you do today no matter how small has an impact on your life and on others. The dot you see yourself is of complete importance to God. He rewards your works as well as your failures or intentions. We all have good works within us.
Quote: "Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Mans's sake. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy!" Luke 6:22-23
Very thought provoking and reminders about the scriptures. I will keep my focus on Jesus and what He has done or me. The important reminder for me is what am I doing for Him.
This book was alright...I'm not giving it special treatment just because it talks about Jesus. This book, depends on which branch of Christianity you are in, will call out to you. As I was reading this book I realised that somethings were very interesting and others I didn't really believe. This book is alright if you agree with what he is saying....if you agree with his certain religion.
Although I first read this book in the summer of 2003, I am revisiting it again as a reminder of God's future blessings. Great uplighting devotionals with Scriptures that will encourage you during hard times when rewards are not visible!
