Three short stories feature vampires and the human women who entice them. They stick a little closer to the classic, Dracula-type mythology for the most part. These are fine, quick reads--perfect for a holiday or something to read when you have just a little time.
Vampire's Heart by Kristina Lloyd is about Billy, who has spent centuries longing for a human he first lusted for and killed back as a newbie vampire in Constantinople. She's finally been reborn, and his longing for her is as strong as ever.
Buddies Don't Bite by Portia Da Costa is about Zach, who despite being nearly a century old, is new to love. And he's fallen for his close friend and roommate, Teresa, who has no idea that he's a vamp. Of the three stories, I probably enjoyed this the most, as I really like the whole friends-to-lovers thing anyway :)
Under Her Skin by Mathilde Madden is a bit of a psychological game for powerful vampire Darius Cole, who promises Merle Cobalt the antidote to save her father in exchange for her spending 25 days in his company. But with his psi powers so strong, will Merle even know what she truly wants after that?
