Lovely pictures and great descriptions with a little story thrown in. Helped reinforce my predilection for enjoying plants and cuttings that are not normally considered pretty or interesting. It is amazing how many "weeds" and shrubs have some fascinating structure when looked at closely. We especially overlook the most common ones since we just tune them out.
Now it is pruning time, and I will be keeping my eyes open for interesting bits to display indoors.
