I have read several similar management books in the past, and I really appreciate this version in short comic form. The ideas of the book are worth reading, but are also simple and common sense and I don't think need much more than the comic offers for most people.
The book is basically a list of 20 bad behaviors you should try not to do, especially if you're in a position to be a leader. Its a fun game to read through and try to assess yourself against the issues. See which ones you display and to what degree you display them.
The issue he mentions which I might be worst about is "Adding too much value". I'm not sure its ever been a problem with me, but I do tend to take any good idea brought to me and turn it into an idea jam -- where else could we apply it? Could we come up with something even better? I don't think it has had a chilling effect on motivation, but its a good thing to watch for. Usurping ideas is bad, and people tend to be most motivated to work on things which they came up with.
