Emily Chase is desperate. Already deep in debt thanks to an injury that ended her ballet career, she's stuck in Las Vegas wondering how she'll pay for her car repairs. It’s not until she finds herself in the Pink Pussycat strip club that things start to look up. Just being there turns her on, and when she sees the money the dancers are making, she wonders if there could be a wild, sexy stripper inside her just waiting to come out. Then she meets gorgeous bouncer Cutter Lawrence, and he turns out to be just the inspiration she needs.

Cutter notices the beautiful blond the second she enters the club, and after catching sight of her impromptu audition, all he can think about are her endless legs and creamy skin. As soon as she’s hired he know he’s in trouble. The chemistry between them is unmistakable, and watching her strip is pure torture. But he’s fresh off a bad break-up, and the last thing he wants is to be the guy Emily slums with before she ditches Las Vegas and returns to her real life.

Cutter tries to keep his cool, but his restraint evaporates in the face of Emily’s heat. Soon the two of them are in far deeper than they ever expected. The only question is, how long will it last?

Isabel Morin

Isabel began reading romances at the age of fourteen. That's the year her grandmother came to visit, bringing with her a shopping bag filled with (very tame) Harlequin and Silhouette romance novels. Isabel was immediately and forever hooked. What could be better than experiencing all that lust and new love just by reading a book?

She earned her MFA in poetry, but meeting her soon-to-be-husband made her too happy to write her usual melancholy poems. It was time to try her hand at writing the kinds of books she’d been gobbling up for years. Now she writes steamy contemporary romances about men and women discovering their true selves while navigating their way to great sex and true love.

In her spare time, Isabel watches British mysteries, plays disc golf (it’s a thing), and religiously re-watches Dirty Dancing. She lives in Connecticut with her conveniently tall, dark, and handsome husband.

3 1/2**** stars

Story: GOOD
Intimacy Level: GOOD
Enjoyment: FAIRLY GOOD
Length: 1673 kindle
Style: Contemporary Romance Erotica

This was a very likable story for me. With a 3.1/2 stars rating, I still very much liked it, however, it didn't wow me. The concept of the story was interesting, as Emily, was a ballet dancer. Now unable to dance professionally and broke, she decides to start stripping. While stripping she finds herself drawn to the bouncer of the strip club, Cutter, whose Native American.

The story was sexy and felt like a long tease to the reader to a certain point in the story as we are watching Cutter and Emily's sexual tension unfolds. Watching the relationship between Cutter and Emily was cute, sweet, sexy and nice. I enjoyed that Cutter oozes a certain sex appeal, and what drew me to him more, he was not a millionaire, he was just a guy whose also trying to stay afloat with his life. Emily was fresh meat at a strip club in Vegas, and although she was an ex ballet dancer who knew nothing about stripping, I enjoyed the scenes with her stripping and engaging with Cutter as though they were the only ones in the room.

There was another stripper who was friendly to Emily, Cheryl. I think she deserves her own story; I can't help but want to see her find love as well, I think this should become a series. The story didn't wow me as I mentioned before, but you can't help but follow Emily and Cutter's stripper and bouncer romance as it unfolds.

4.75 stars-so close to perfection
Heroine: I loved how comfortable she was with herself and her sexuality. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind. Tough but not afraid to be vulnerable. She was down but never out. In short she was essentially my ideal heroine.
Hero:Yum yum yum yum yum! He had a rough past but he didn't let it make him could. He took charge but wasn't alpha. Just the right amount of jealous but not possessive. It was an interesting turn to have the guy be more emotionally invested than the girl and it was a very welcome twist. He had white knight syndrome but he could save me anytime!
This applies to both characters: while it doesn't detract from the story i would've loved to have their respective pasts detailed a little more.
Romance: While this was a short i didn't ever feel cheated out the romance. Even though it was only 99 pages the relationship didn't feel rushed at all and you got to see the character learn each other and fall for each other throughout. These two characters also complimented each other extremely well.
Sex: *fans self* this was so hot. If you want a prime sample of erotica this is it. It's sensual..not sexual. The language is actually relatively clean but it just puts you in this erotic haze. Worth the read for these scenes alone.
Plot: While i imagine this plot line isnt altogether uncommon in real life i've never read it before in a book. i love books about dancers of all shapes and sizes current or former so this was right up my alley. I wouldn't have minded a little more attention to detail in the dance scenes though in general when she was dancing i couldn't picture in my mind what she was doing beyond how much clothing she had removed. If the dancing had been as detailed as the sex scenes i even would've ignored what i subtracted for.
Writing: overall very smooth. the author had a great flow both narrative and dialogue. The writing never felt stilted or forced everything came off as perfectly natural. My only complaint about this area is the formatting (some paragraphs were suddenly drastically smaller font) and typos. While there were only a few and the weren't of the worst variety (spell check wouldn't have caught them-loose/lose and heroin/heroine) they still interrupted the otherwise lovely easy flow of the read.

Bottom line: One of the best shorts, hell books, i've read in quite awhile. I loved it and I highly recommend it. Would definitely read this author again

I asked for a light fluffy steamy read and I got one:) Emily and Cutter ~ so much sexual tension, I loved every minute of it. Set Loose was a shortie but a goodie.

Emily ~ "... I'm a freak for the stage, because it doesn't seem to matter if I'm performing a gorgeous ballet or taking off my clothes. She was so cute and I totally got in her shoes, I was actually nervous for her, when she first asked the manager for an audition, I actually had to cover my eyes.

Cutter, oh my goodness, a simple-yummilicious man, carried two jobs, protective of the girls, honorable and totally swoon-worthy.
"Why did you stop?"
"I'm trying not to act like a damn animal."
"Maybe I want you to."

Just as in the first book in the box set of two novellas...Set Loose has a woman on the edge, needing a job, not wanting to go back home but having a hard time making ends meet.
Ballerina Emily was injured but still loves to dance...and now that she is in Vegas, she trades one horizontal pole for a vertical one...and figures out that her classical training works just fine when stripping.
The money is great, her co-workers get along with her and that bouncer...yummy Cutter...a Native American hunk who becomes her protector first, and then her lover.
Emily's plans to stay in Vegas for a short time just to earn fast cash change when she and Cutter fall for each other, but fear of giving up her own dreams and leaving her home behind cause some problems and doubt sets in.
As with the other novella, we do get an HEA for this couple as well, but not until there is a break and time for some soul-searching.
I really enjoy reading this author's short love stories...they are romantic, steamy as hell and great when you just want a quick read and nothing too deep...just pure guilty pleasure!

SENSUOUS LOVE STORY

Emily was a ballet dancer till an injury forced her to retire. On her way back home her car breaks down in Las Vegas. Discovering its going to take a few weeks to get the parts and repair, she forced to stay in a hotel. Short of money, and with the payments overdue on her credit cards. Emily decides after going inside a strip club and seeing the men crowding to thrust dollar bills at the stripper. That this could be the answer to her money troubles at least temporarily until her car is fixed.

The manager agrees to let her audition. Her eye is caught by one of the clubs bouncers Cutter, he is a Native American, and totally gorgeous. But as Emily discovers he doesn't date the dancers. But it's obvious there is a spark a connection between them.

This is a fairly quick but good read. The characters are very likeable. The sex is sensuous and hot. The writing is very descriptive an absolute requirement for me. It just ticks all the right boxes. I happily recommend this.

again, Isabel Morin did the so called 'mummy porn' books proud here, a believable love story with lots of love, romance and lots of good proper sex, naughty and fun! a great holiday read and simple escapism, will now read all Isabel Morin books, she writes for woman with woman in mind. Her stories are far more superior to the far fetched monotonous Mr Grey trilogy. She keeps her stories real, short and fun. An easy read after a long day at work, highly recommend once again!!
The lead character is a pro ballet dancer visiting Las Vegas, she falls on hard times and turns her ballet into erotic pole dancing to earn money, she falls for the clubs bouncer who protects the girls, he is mesmerised by her but pretends he's not interested as he has a broken heart. Isabel Morin describes some great erotic dances (very flashdance based story but erotic) eventually he falls for her charms, they fall in love and of course some trials and tribulations arise, predictable but good, all mums/woman will love this story!

I started reading this book as it was recommended to me after reading Tempt Me by the same author. It was a bit different from other books that I have been reading recently so I didn't know what to expect and only had the fact that i enjoyed the previous book to go on.
I have to say I was pleasantly suprised!
A very big benefit of this book was that you got an insight in to the character's lives and so you could really develop a liking for them, which I did. I also liked the fact that Emily was quite independent in her own right unlike quite a lot of the female characters these days.
I would definately recommend this book if you want a hot little romance to entertain you for a little while, though a little while is all it will be as the book itself is rather short.
Read it and i'm sure you'll be fond of this little suprise too.

Free download. I really enjoyed this story, Emily is an amazing person, who uses her talent to improve her position. After an injury changes the course of her dance career, Emily goes to Vegas, looking for something. With little cash she walks into a strip club and it changes her life, starting with Cutter, the moment they meet its instant. Cutter has his own reservations about letting anyone into his heart, but he feels different with Emily. Can they both put themselves out there so they can come back together? This was short, and sweet but it was lovely. I enjoyed the plot, and writing, it was humorous and the sex was hot. The characters were great and in a short space of time you really engage with them. I would recommend.

Set lose is a story of a broken dream. Ballerina Emily is because of the injury force to finish her career. So when her car broke down her only way to earn money is to strip. And being in Las Vegas that is not a problem. The only problem is a hot dark male Cutter who works like a bodyguard in the same club. So after days of flaying sparkles they create a huge fire. And in the end they start living together till Emily doesn’t go back home. But attraction changes in something more but will it be enough for Emily to stay with Cutter?
Both characters were very likable an enjoyable.

4 stars for editing--I only found 5 easily fixed mistakes.
4.5 stars for clean erotica--all the heat was there, but it was very tasteful.
4 stars for Cutter and Emily--Emily had only a few pages where she was TSTL. Cutter NONE. He was vulnerable and honest the whole was through.
4 stars for being a bit of a light read.

Overall, 4.5 stars.
I highly recommend it.
I could easily reread it.
I'd definitely read other books by this author.

Originally drawn to this book because the main character, Emily, was a ballet dancer and growing up I danced for about 13 years. I figured the book would be cheesy but that was definitely not the case. I enjoyed this quick steamy read and both Cutter and Emily's connection to one another.

This book could use some editing. I think the story was okay but it didn’t grab me. There was a real opportunity to explore stripping here and I didn’t love that the main character didn’t do private dances and yet seemingly made buckets of money. That’s not really how that works. This is an older book, published on 2012, but I didn’t love how the author described people by their apparent nationality (which could be incorrect by the way.) One of the bouncers “was probably Italian” which had no bearing on the story or character. I just didn’t feel invested in either MC.

A quick and easy read with all the right ingredients. ‘Set Loose’ has believable characters that you can relate to and find yourself routing for. It has a sweet but erotic story line with just the right amount of description. This book keeps you hooked from the beginning right to the very end.

‘Set Loose’ tells the story of Emily, a ballet dancer who has to retire after injuring her foot. Emily finds herself in debt and decides to start striping in a gentleman’s club to earn some fast money. However, as the book progresses Emily’s life begins to change…

Very cute book. I really enjoyed both Emily and Cutter. Emily was down to earth, sensible and knew how to enjoy life. Cutter, well, he fit the roll of a considerate, down to earth male. I thought the two went together very well.

If you are looking for a light, steamy, heart felt read, this is a good one. I finished the book with a smile on my face.

This book's plot was similar to Morin's "Tempt Me" novel, which may have been the reason why I wasn't as drawn in.

The story and characters were well-written, though, and the sex scenes vibrated. It just would have been nice to read something structurally different. Perhaps if I hadn't just finished "Tempt Me", I would have fallen more in love with the book.

This book has about 9 chapters...So yeah,it's short. But believe me,that's not a problem.

I liked the characters. Emily was sure of herself, which is very rare to find in main female characters nowadays (loved that). Cutter is such a...man. lol

The sex is hot, hot, hot! *fans herself*
