Maybe it is a mistake to jump into this without reading the previous books, but I wasn’t too impressed. Things move too quickly and nothing all that interesting happens. Maybe I’ll take a look at earlier Black Hammer stuff and come back.
I am 88.8% sure that I read a bit of The Quantum Age or I skimmed through the comic. I am not sure but something about Black Hammer felt familiar. I don't know if I was supposed to read anything before hand, I don't know what's going on, but I enjoyed the read. Maybe it was the good artwork? I have issue 2 that I plan on reading. Not sure if I will continue reading because based off of my google search, there is a lot in this universe.
Just getting back to Black Hammer, Lucy is the new Hammer, she gets lost or better taken to another dimension... have to see the rest of the comics till the end.... but for now this series looks good, the art is very good and hope Mr. Lemire can uphold his plot...
