Book about the managing of game and the Kruger Park in general. Focuses on a few of the key animal species and gives a detailed account of how the species was managed in the past and is currently being managed, and also what the Kruger staff discovered as they experimented with different ways to best manage the species.

Insightful descriptions of the management practices followed by the national park, including the mistakes and wrong assumptions made in the past. Really helped me appreciate the complexity of the bushveld ecosystem.
