A handy grab-bag of the benefit of others' experience in the titular area, on topics ranging from how to find an agent or get published to specific subgenres like near-future societies, graphic novels and comics, and plotting of novels vs. short stories.
If you are an aspiring or already-published SF or fantasy author, you would benefit from having this book handy.

This is my baby, my pride and joy. I edited this book when I worked at Writer's Digest Books, and I loved every minute and every page. The market listings are way out of date now, but the articles by great SF writers are still very good.
