Overview of how to invest in tax certificates and tax deeds. Part of the challenge in describing the process, including how to find out about tax sales that are occurring and info on the properties listed, is that virtually every county does it differently. There is no standardized website (in most cases, there is no website). Auctions differ in how the bidding occurs. Redemption periods vary greatly, in some cases extending beyond the foreclosure itself.

Zero Risk attempts to give general advise. But in the end, it's all up to the investor doing his/her homework.
