This is a really good commentary for 1 Kings! I recommend reading the chapters of the Bible listed for each chapter, read the commentary, and answer the questions at the end of each chapter. The last chapter is a review of the 1 Kings. I would also say to remember that the commentary is not God’s word, but the author’s interpretation of God’s word.
