Pragmatic RubyMotion is just a beginners' book. I would recommend it to people who are already well adept with Objective C and have amateurish Ruby Skills. After reading this, I find RubyMotion is more of a prototyping tool rather than being used for a full blown application. A vast number of Objective-C APIs, like Notifications, Animations are yet missing.

Quick and fun to read. It does a quick pass through Ruby Motion to get your feet wet, but lacks the more in-depth detail I was looking for.

Great for beginners.
