Relatively good, however the content is not very balanced with primarily Western tribes dominating the book and others mentioned briefly. I also found some that were modern white-washed interpretations, such as the "Dreamcatcher" which has nothing to do with dreams at all...

Sometimes mythos common with multiple tribes are not properly attributed as they are missing some groups that also carry said mythos, despite those tribes mentioned in the book elsewhere... Otherwise enjoyed.

Well, since I knew nothing about this topic before this book, I appreciated it very much. The kind of concepts, gods and animals inhabiting indigenous cosmologies seems to me tremendously interesting, and the importance given in this culture both to animals and women is great, especially if you compare to greek and roman mythology. I have felt, though, that I should read about every of the tribes: this hasn't been enough.
