The book i chose to read was "Training Days Basketball Is Life". Overall this was a very interesting book. i felt some connections between the main character in this book and myself. Some of the incidents he was going through i have someway been through the same. I liked the book because it was something i never got bored reading. I never usually read, but this book got me interested in reading more.

This book was mainly about a teenage boy that goes by the name A.J. He is in love with the game basketball as he doesn't go a day without playing it. His dream is to make it to the NBA and become famous. the story takes place in the neighborhood of A.J. while on summer break he gets his report card and receives a bad grade in one of his classes. His dad needs to show him discipline so he makes A.J. slow down on basketball and tells him to read a chapter from Proverbs every day. The whole story is meant to show a lesson that life is a struggle and nothing is handed to you.
