Don't Hug a Grudge

Rate this book
Grudges appear to be small, harmless and cuddly. They want you to pick them, nurse them and feed them with angry thoughts. You'll be able to pick them up and put them down when they're small, but WARNING...grudges grow up.

They become Resentment and then Bitterness. See the growth cycle of a grudge and discover how you can stop it right in its tracks. Written in English and Spanish for ages 7 to adult.

DON'T HUG A GRUDGE has been used by Joyce Meyer, of Joyce Meyer Ministries International, in her Emotional Healing Series, "Bitterness, Resentment and Unforgiveness".

Donna lives in the Pacific NW, WA near the Canadian border.

Her books are in print once again and available for purchase at www.DonnaPerugini.com for a new generation of children. The 4 books were previously published by Harrison House, Tulsa, OK from 1983-1990. They have been re-issued through Yorkshire Publishing in 2010.

Donna was in Children's Ministry for over 30 years. She has written for Moody Magazine and her book, "Don't Hug A Grudge" was thought enough of by Joyce Meyer that Joyce used it in her teaching, Bitterness, Resentment and Unforgiveness. Donna is a loving, appreciative wife, a blessed grandmother, and Women's Ministry speaker. She is also a Potter/Sculptor using the pottery wheel to teach at the same time she is throwing pots. She teaches about the Father's love and interest in His vessels of clay.

I bought this book for my grandkids to read and I loved it. Very simple message, but a lesson everyone could benefit from learning.

"Don't Hug a Grudge" is written in Spanish and English (in the same book).

Excellent material re: a grudge, resentment and bitterness and how to leave these behind in your life. A quick breakdown on the growth of 'unforgiveness' in your life and a useful way to eliminate the 'unforgiveness'. Children's book for ages 6 and up.

Received by adults as useful information for their lives. Joyce Meyer, of Joyce Meyer Ministries, International, used these books in her teachings on "Bitterness, Resentment and Unforgiveness". Joyce taught from each page of this book while showing the illustrations in tranparencies form. It can be found on tape or CD #2 titled, "Are you holding a grudge or is the grudge holding you?" This book is for sale under the trademark, Donna Perugini Books, through the author, Donna Perugini.

Other books by Donna Perugini; "The Flight of Orville Wright Caterpillar", "Amelia Airheart Butterfly in Bye! Bye! Dragonfly", "Do Angels Go Camping?", known as the "I Can!" Christian Children's Books can be purchased through the author, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, church bookstores and Independent Bookstores everywhere.

Don't Hug a Grudge
Donna Perugini

I have been a fan of Donna's writing style from following her blog, Donna Perugini Children's Author, so when she ran a giveway for this book last year, I entered immediately!

* I recently re-read this book because I was struggling with a past transgression with a dear friend and Donna's words helped!

This is a beautifully written book that spoke to my heart as well as my daughters, ages 13 and 9 years.
It teaches with simple words and pictures that everyone can understand.
Sometimes we all need to be reminded that a little grudge can turn into a huge, ugly monster and we must take action not to allow that to grow within us.
Donna writes with a teachers heart and her faith shines through. I highly recommend this book for all ages!
