Ugh. I wanted to like this, and enjoyed the review of Einstein and a few other important science/ physics people. But it also did not explain things it pretended to explain at all. It's written with simple sentence structure to give a brief BRIEF summary of all this to children. But that's no excuse to just skip over things and then say, "See? Relativity. The marble gathered more mass." And you're like, what? You didn't explain anything about that. Anyway, she lost me when she "explained" how Galileo thought with the example of a train.
Whatever. Decent review of Einstein's life, but once she gets into big ideas she is all over the place and gets nowhere.
I think this is a great book. There's tons of information about Albert Einstein's childhood and interest in science. This book helped me understand many things like gravity, electromagnetism, and light waves. Not only did this book talk about Albert Einstein but many other scientists. Many descriptive examples were made for theories, laws, and ideas. This book also made me want to read more because of the many questions it kept asking making me interested to get the answer to why something did what it did. Some difficult words and formulas I didn't understand were explained in the book too.
This book tells you about Albert Einstein's life and the details in his life that made him famous. It explains his whole life from being born to him dieing and everything inbetween. This book tells you about his achievements and how he reached them and it also explains that Albert Einstein is a genius and has many beliefs. I was surprised when i read this book and it said that he dropped out of school because he was so smart and he accomplished so much without even going to school i just thought that was unbelievable. I liked the book because it was easy for me to read because it was actually interesting to me to learn about him. I liked the book because it was very informative and i learned things that i didn't know before i read this book. When i read this book it reminded me of this movie where a genius drops out of school and still becomes successful. The plot wasn't the same because the character in the movie wasn't a genius he was just really smart. If someone doesn't want to learn about a genius who has made many theories and was one of the smartest person in history then i don't think they should read this book. I think this book should get a five because it was a very easy book to read because it always kept me interested with all the facts the Albert Einstein actually did. I think this book appeals to teens and adults who want to learn about Albert Einstein and his life. In the book it says “Albert Einstein was only twenty five years old when he published his five important science papers”. The book also said “Albert Einstein had many theories of life and space”. The book also said “Albert Einstein was the first person to solve the equation e = mc2 ”. All of these quotes supports that this book will keep you interested because it is filled with facts about Albert Einstein's life. Overall it was a very good and informative book that will keep you interested while reading it.
Albert Einstein by Joyce Goldenstern is a biography. This book is about Albert Einstein's inventions and theory's. He is one of the smartest people in my opinion. He came up with E=MC squared and thought about why the elevator didn't go out of control. Overall Albert Einstein was pretty cool and smart.
I think this book is really good. I liked how this book told me about all his theory's and inventions. I also liked how the author put some of Albert's life in the book. That is what I liked about this book.
I recommend this book to people who like science and people who are interested in history. Overall I really like this book and I hope you do to.
The bibliography of Albert Einstein, through the book Physicist and Genius was very well written. It included an interesting introduction of his childhood, which is not as famous as his scientific breakthroughs, a simple explanation to his theories and experiments and even managed to get me thinking like Einstein. It also commented on his scientific achievement. Very simple, short and interesting book. One drawback was it was written towards a younger audience and was very short. Overall, I enjoyed it 3/5.
This book contain information on Albert Einstein, and some of his theories. Albert is a inspiration to many, but this book hit me and moved the gears in my brain. I want to be a scientific important figure toe help daily problem and solve them. Einstein showed me that to achieve my goals i must work hard and be dedicated to whatever i put my mind to.
