Love Hurts Falling in love for the first time is supposed to be magical, but for ten-year-old Gabe Burton it's pure agony. Gabe is just a normal kid growing up in the Big Apple, dodging bullies and playing basketball with his friends -- or rather, he was just a normal kid -- until Rosemary Telesco walked into his karate class. Tortured by his newfound love, Gabe decides to show Rosemary just how he feels. But before Gabe can successfully navigate the most romantic city in the world, he needs to learn more about life, love, and the most terrifying subject of all -- girls.
I liked this book but not as much as the movie. It was a G rated book for a PG rated movie. None of the language that was in the movie was in the book. They did put the deleted scences in the book. The action scences were not discribed very well. I would suggest reading this book if you liked the movie, but if you didnt dont bother reading this book.
Romance story is great, and when a romance story begun between children that will be awesome. It showed us a boy that fall in love with a girl and he wants to do everything possible in order to make her love him as well. Even though he is a 10 years old, but he knows how to feel when you are in love. Wonderful story"
This book is great if you want a quick read. I totally love the movie and it's one of my favourites. When reading the book I was imagining everything from the movie.
