The audio narration by Nick Podehl is excellent -- of a higher quality than the story itself, even though I enjoyed the book. This is book 2 in the Montgomery brothers series. I had no trouble following it, even though I didn't read the prequel. The suspense plot is entertaining and fairly engrossing, even though a bit extreme, and I easily detected the mastermind villain. The romance is decent, and I was happy for Zach, Jenna, and little Sam, but the hero - heroine relationship didn't quite wrench at my heart strings.

Jenna is hiding from her husband, who is an assassin for hire. Her son Sam is five years old. The boy plays a central role across the entire story. I have worked with dozens of kids of that age. Sam didn't ring quite true; his characterization and dialogue was acceptable enough for a beach read, but not quite authentic.

I did like all the scenes with the Montgomery brothers. Reminded me of the Mackenzie brothers, in the series by Linda Howard. liked seeing them all pull together. Loved their mother, the intuitive Anna.

The writing style is good but not great. A little pedantic -- Perini doesn't allow the reader to read between the lines. Everything is laid out for us. I grew tired of Zach's guilt trips about his dad's death, and Jenna guilt tripping about staying with Brad for material wealth. I grew impatient with all the regretting and internal reflecting. It gets redundant. One odd sentence, in the hospital, towards the end of the book: "Sterling exited the room, his footsteps stealth." Huh? And there was no reason for stealth -- there was no danger, no threat of danger.

Contents: One sex scene, some violence and death, some basic swearing but not much, little or no profanity, no typos noticed.

I would maybe try another by this author, if it goes on a special sale price.

I have to say I was a little nervous because I normally don’t read Romantic Suspense novels but THIS was an amazing book. From page one I was sucked in and kept in a vortex of emotions. I loved the ride. Zach Montgomery is the slacker and wild one of the bunch, and he’s been living that lie since events unfolded with his father. He’s stays away from his family and hasn’t let them into his secret world, which gives them room to judge and look past what’s in their faces. Zach, likes it that way… Or so he thinks. Things are about to go to shit for our dear Zach and there isn’t a damn thing he can do about but not all of it is bad.

Nine times out of ten the situations men are put in are because of WOMEN. Zach’s case is no different, except for the fact that its really two woman and one of them has a child.

Jenna is a naïve sweetheart, and her world is about to get a shake up and a twist. Some secrets aren’t meant to be found and Jenna just came across the mother of all secrets. Her perfect husband is very much an assassin and not just any assassin NO. He is a KNOWN and ESTABLISHED assassin. With nowhere to go because the law enforcement are useless, she takes her son and hides out in Zach’s backyard.

Things go from bad to worse and all in between for these two and they have to roll with the punches and stay together, despite what Zach wants in the beginning. But there is good that comes out of all the drama and Zach and Jenna find that, what they have really been looking for is each other.

I absolutely loved this book. The Montgomery boys are amazing and they know how to keep a girl on her toes. There was emotion, action and some well placed YOU KNOW NOTHINGS. Robin has the twist and turns of a suspense novel down to a science.

Behind the Lies receives FIVE STARS from BOOK PAGES AND DRIPPING INK.

Behind the Lies is Zach's story; Zach, the third oldest Montgomery brother: a man of honor who doesn't always do what he wants... just the thing that's right. He happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when Jenna Walters finally decides to make a run from her perilous life—young son in tow; Zach's strange desire to help the beautiful, troubled woman out, brings the two lost—and nearly hopeless—characters together, which just may change both of their lives forever.

The characters are so well portrayed and complex—definitely one of the highlights of this novel. Readers will fall in love with Zach as they discover that as solitary as he is, he deserves greater care and more love than he will accept. He doesn't show it, but he feels deeply; this gift—or curse—makes him a good actor but brings him hurt even he cannot recognize and that most do not even begin to understand.

Jenna has never been exposed to this kind of honorable male figure before. In the midst of escaping her past, her abusive marriage, and herself, she is both shell-shocked, and completely disoriented, that such a kind, honest, person would be willing to help save her and her son's lives. But her surprisingly strong instincts tell her Zach is more than a renown actor, more than a pretty face—he's hiding something from her, too. Could he just be another liar?

Perini's grasp of the pen is intelligent, articulate, and forms a great story but I don't think it's particularly affecting. I love how her fiction always has confidential government and military aspects, though. She expertly captures the deadliness of lies and the helplessness of someone forced to be acquainted with crime when there's nowhere left to run.

Behind the Lies connects characters from the first book into its story seamlessly, but still makes for a great stand-alone novel. I got a warm, tingly feeling revisiting the cast I was familiar with from In Her Sights. The loyalty and strength between the Montgomery brothers especially made my heart soar. I was also pleasantly surprised by how the book picks up on lingering family mystery, which isn't revealed, but heavily hinted on. Definitely something to look forward for in the next book.

One thing I wasn't fond of is the unrealistic scenario; I just can't grasp how such an emotionally detached and legally coveted character like Zach would suddenly risk all to help a random woman especially when he's got more pressing matters at hand. I really liked everything else, though, from the sizzling chemistry to the heartbreaking personal development.

Pros
Fabulous characterization // The Montgomery brothers........ // Pitch-perfect suspense and emotion // Super sexy romance!

Cons
Stylistically plain // Starts off slow // Unrealistic situation holistically... the individual scenes are so real and raw, but the entire way Zach and Jenna meet and stay together seems a little forced

Love
Jenna stepped to the stove, peering into the simmering pot. "So, a man who can cook, too? Are there any more surprises?"

Zach gave her a wicked wink. "None with a G rating."

Verdict
I enjoyed Behind the Lies, the second installment in the Montgomery Justice series much more than I did the first. The emotional turmoil and the hot attraction between Jenna and Zach definitely hit home. Robin Perini knows what she's doing, spinning a roller coaster ride of a romantic suspense about two fallen souls finding each other. I'm looking forward to trying the next book, for sure.

8 out of 10 hearts (3 stars): An engaging read; highly recommended.

BEHIND THE LIES was an action-packed romantic thriller. Jenna was fleeing with her five-year-old son Sam from her husband. She had learned that he was an assassin, turned him in to the FBI, but was betrayed by the FBI and had to run for her life. Zach Montgomery, whose cover as a B class actor hid his CIA agent reality, was also on the run as it looked like he had been betrayed by someone in his own agency.

Though Zach had good intentions of setting Jenna and Sam up in a new life far away from the danger he presented, each set of enemies was too close to converging on them for him to put the plans into action. Zach, Jenna and Sam had to deal with car accidents, houses exploding around them, and the hazards or running through the mountains at night.

Jenna had tried to protect her son from the reality of his father but Sam knew that he hit her and thought that was how husbands treated their wives. It wasn't until he saw how Zach treated Jenna that he began to understand how men should treat women. Of course, it helped that Zach had played the Dark Avenger in one of his movies and that Sam already thought of the Dark Avenger as a hero.

Even though he doesn't want too, Zach ends up bringing Jenna and Sam home with him to seek the aid of his brothers. Zach had been staying away because he felt responsible for their father's death. But the Montgomery boys are very formidable when they all get together. Together they take on an insane Afghan terrorist who wants revenge on Zach for the death of his sister, Jenna's assassin husband, and a rogue CIA agent on the way to a happy ending for Zach, Jenna and Sam.

This was a real page turner. I look forward to reading more stories about the Montgomery brothers and can't wait for Robin Perini to finish writing them.

Oh I just loved this novel!! Zach is a devilishly intriguing hero. A famous actor, with a double life as a CIA agent, Zach is handsome, independent, and a guy that any lady would want protecting her.

Jenna Walters has to make a tough decision - run for her life with her young son Sam, or risk being killed by the dangerous man she married who is not at all what she first thought him to be. Shrouded in dark secrets, Jenna knows that the only way she is getting out of her beautiful home alive is to escape before her assassin husbands returns from his trip. Without many options, Jenna makes a dash for her neighbor's backyard. Afterall, what are the chances a famous actor like Zach Montgomery is actually home? If she can just find a safe place to hide, she can get herself and her son to safety.

Soon Jenna and Zach find themselves running for their lives together. Zach was betrayed by someone in his agency and also must flee. The only way for either of them to survive is to trust each other.

The tension builds and the sparks fly between Jenna and Zach. The action, romance and suspense of this novel make it almost impossible to put down! I feel very lucky to have won a copy on goodreads and can't wait to read Perini's other novels. Definitely a 5 star book!!

Disclaimer: Robin is a good friend but...just a darn excellent writer.

A new reader might disbelieve my 5 star rating because I know Robin, just pick up a Perini Robin Perini book and you'll see. Behind the Lies: A Montgomery Justice Novel is no exception to the excellence I've come to except.

I won't give away details, but can't wait for another Montgomery Justice book !!

To the world,Zach Montgomery is a handsome, B-movie actor who lives on the wild side. In reality,Zach uses the exotic locales of his movies, to perform undercover work as the infamous CIA operative, Zane Morgan. Zach learns from the Company that his cover is blown and his life is in danger. He rushes home to California to retrieve the equipment that he will need to disappear to safety at his hideaway home in Colorado.

Jenna Walters also is living a lie. She appears to be a happy wife as well as mother of her five year old son, Sam. Her husband, Brad, is an abusive one. Jenna believes that Brad is a computer salesman until she discovers information that Brad is a professional assassin. Once Jenna realizes that Brad has found one of the bugs planted in their home by the FBI, she knows that Brad will kill her.

Preparing to leave, Jenna hears Brad returning home. Jenna and Sam hide in Zach's backyard next door. When she sees Zach get into his truck, they hide in the back. Once in Colorado, Zach discovers Jenna and Sam. Without letting Sam know, Jenna explains to Zach the reason that they are on the run. When Jenna uses Brad's code name,Chameleon, Zach tells her that Brad is a world renowned assassin wanted by every governmental agency including Interpol.

Zach wants Jenna and Sam safe, and that means away from him. Based on his genuine relationship with Sam and his concern for them, Jenna knows that there is more to Zach than appears. Sam learns that all men do not hurt women, and later the truth about his father.

Before Jenna and Sam can leave with the plan Zach has devised, his house blows up. So, Zach tells Jenna everything including his certainty that the Company blew up his house. She is convinced that Brad did it to kill her since his signature in his assassinations is explosives.

Zach knows that he has to go home. He is estranged from his family because he blames himself for his father's death. He is reluctant to bring Jenna and Sam with him without knowing if he is the sole target of the blast, but he has no choice. His brothers know nothing about his double life. When he comes clean to his family, Zach's brothers, and Luke's wife, Jazz, stand with Jenna and him.

The attraction between Zach and Jenna is palpable from the start. They are very likable and the growing relationship is believable. But, Zach and Jenna have to come to terms with their own demons, as well the real ones threatening their lives, before they can have a real chance for love.

Once home, the action is riveting and none stop. The manner in which Ms. Perini resolves the intricate, interwoven plots in the last quarter of the book is nothing short of amazing.

There is sufficient deceit, betrayal, unknown killers and twists to keep the reader captivated.

Luke and Jazz Montgomery's story is told in In Her Sights, Montgomery Justice Novel #1, the beginning of a compelling series. I prefer to read books in a series in order but it is not necessary. Behind The Lies is a stand-alone read.

I highly recommend Behind The Lies to any reader who genuinely enjoys Romantic Suspense.

I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Forget edge of your seat. Read a Robin Perini book and you'll feel like you're hovering on the edge of a cliff. Erratic breathing, thumping pulse, sweat-slick hands, clenched muscles — this is the Perini reading experience. I just finished Behind the Lies, the second book in the Montgomery Justice series, and I'm still riding an adrenaline high. The story latches onto you and holds on tight, from one death-defying adventure, one heart-wrenching challenge, one shocking revelation to the next.

That can't look away from the page effect is achieved through taut prose, a twist-ridden plot and in-depth characterization. Zach makes for a memorable hero. As fascinating and thrilling as his double life is, though, it's his internal struggles and innate kindness that will keep him in your thoughts. Not only does he blame himself for his father's death, he deeply regrets that his father died believing him a shallow man. His brothers believe the same, since Zach maintains a physical and emotional distance in a misguided attempt to keep his family safe. Despite the danger and loneliness he contends with, and the cold, calculated decisions he's forced to make every day, Zach remains compassionate, and the instinctive aid he provides Jenna and her son will make you a fan for life.

"Why do you say you can help me disappear?" Jenna asked. "What's the truth?"

"I play a superhero on the screen," he said. "You pick up a few things here and there."

She reached out a hand and laid it on Zach's arm. His muscles tensed under her touch, but she didn't let go. "You're…not what I expected, Zach Montgomery. Why get involved?"

"Everyone needs choices."

His warm, strong hand covered hers. Her breath stuttered at his hooded gaze. She still couldn't get over the truth that he'd tried to help her when he didn't even know her. Who did that?

A hero?

A real hero?

Not a fake. Not a man who lived a lie. Not a man like her husband.

Only … Zach is living a lie. And he does his darnedest to convince himself it won't matter that Jenna will despise him once she finds out.

Jenna is just as complicated. She berates herself for not wising up about her husband sooner, for what she's putting her young son through, and for making Zach a target, too. At the same time, the lengths she's willing to go to protect her son are unexpected and splendid. And her five year-old lends an authentic innocence, earnestness and bewilderment that yield as much humor as poignancy.

Behind the Lies is gritty and timely, steeped in suspense and crowded with danger. It will touch you and trouble you, but most of all it will convince you that Robin Perini is synonymous with stellar romantic suspense.

With her second "Montgomery Justice" novel, author Robin Perini takes readers "Behind the Lies" for a rip-roaring romantic suspense thriller. Zach Montgomery may be well known as a roguish star of highly-charged, action-packed films, but his true identity as a CIA operative is more intriguing and dangerous than any role he has played onscreen. Most of his family is unaware of Zach's real-life role as a government agent, and out of the six Montgomery brothers, he has long been considered the "black sheep". Jenna Walters lives in fear of her abusive husband, Brad. When he discovers that she is not only aware of his secret life as a highly-skilled international assassin, she knows her life will be over unless she escapes with her young son, Sam. Zach has troubles of his own when his latest assignment doesn't go as planned. His cover is blown, and someone in the CIA wants him dead. Jenna lives next door to Zach in their exclusive California community. Taking a chance, she and Sam climb Zach's security fence and hide in his pool house shortly before he returns home from his ill-fated mission. All Zach wants to do is head to his secret safe house in Colorado, and after a brief, unsettling interrogation by Jenna's husband, he hits the road. What Zach doesn't know is that there are two stowaways in the back of his truck, and the woman and small boy are on a run for their life, just like Zach. Fate has brought them together, but will an unexpected emotional connection keep them together? Spending time with Jenna and Sam brings out Zach's tender side, along with his strong protective instincts. Her determination to keep her son safe and away from his father has Jenna making the best of the survival skills she learned as a young woman. With more than one enemy on their trail, and the looming weight of deadly secrets bearing down upon them, will the three of them make their way to safety? If they live, is there a future for them as a family? "Behind the Lies" is a satisfyingly suspenseful romance from author Robin Perini.

Big Thank You to Robin Perini for creating a wonderful Giveaway Prize of this Book!

I really enjoyed reading the first novel in the "Montgomery Justice" series and I was not disappointed by the 2nd Novel!

In "Behind the Lies," Zach Montgomery (B Movie Star + Secret Operative) is forced to hide after his Cover is blown. He inadvertently gets caught up in another situation involving Jenna Walters and her son, Sam. Jenna is running away from her abusive Assassin husband, who is going after her. Tension between the two is sky-high, but they both must focus on saving each other from the Bad Guys.

I was hesitant at first when I read the synopsis of a "Movie Star/Secret CIA" guy. It sounds very cliche, but the Author made it work. The Movie star role was a part of the character but didn't take over the novel. It was actually a very nice add-on to Zack's personality and emotions.

I did find it odd that Jenna had a kid. The first novel involved a child, which made it seem uncreative or repetitive. Still a good story though.

The sexual tension was enjoyable to read. The descriptions were wonderful and exquisitely tempting.

Zach's character isn't as family oriented as Luke (first novel). However, Zach's character has developed through the book and Jenna's influence is essential. Jenna is a strong character that I admire.

I loved hearing about Jasmine and Luke from the first novel. I find this to be an important aspect in a series. Hearing about a past character leaves me satisfied to know that the Character is moving forward and happy.

I recommend this book and I hope you enjoy it!

Zach is one of six boys in the Montgomery family and he has always been labeled the wild child of the bunch, moving away from the family he became an actor. Making movies allows him to travel extensively and provides cover for his other job - that of a CIA operative. On location for his latest movie he becomes aware that his cover is blown and it's a challenge to get home in one piece. There's a hit on him and he does not know where to turn.

Jenna Walters has had enough of her abusive husband and is making plans to run away taking her son with her, unfortunately her husband returns early before she can finish her escape. Climbing over her garden wall and hiding in her neighbors pool house seems like a good idea at the time. Jenna and Zach are both on the run can they help each other or will they be a danger to each other? Both have secrets, both have people after them and they have lots of chemistry, fortunately or unfortunately they also have Jenna's son Sam with them, he's too young to understand just how much danger they are in and why which may just put them in more danger!

I thoroughly enjoyed this installment, it was full of tension and angst and although I did see a lot of the plot twists coming Robin did a fabulous job of interweaving them all connecting all the dots. I loved getting to the bottom of Zach's secrets, I really enjoyed the rest of the Montgomery's finally opening their eyes and seeing him for who he truly is. Lots f secrets came to light in this one and I'm looking forward to seeing the fallout in the next one!

Perini writes remarkably strong female characters. Jenna is an abused-wife desperate to save her and her son, Sam. The author does an incredible job of building Jenna’s character throughout the entire book; giving the reader tidbits of back-story while revealing the extent she will go to protect those she loves. Zach’s character perfectly complements Jenna; I enjoyed his interaction with both mother and son. Jenna is leery to trust someone who has deep secrets they can’t share; it reminds her of her husband. With unknown enemies lurking Zach and Jenna quickly learn they must work together in a desperate attempt to survive.

This is the perfect example of a romantic suspense. This can be read as a stand-alone. Everything was balanced; the plot flowed in alignment with the apprehension, and the intensity did not overwhelm. The best part was when it came to the romance there was no game playing; the author kept things natural, allowing thing to progress without drama. Highly Recommended for fans of romantic suspense.

And just think there is still four more unwed-single Montgomery brothers waiting for that special gal to come along.

Hold on for the ride in this thriller of nonstop action. The Montgomery boys are back.

Zach Montgomery lives a double life. He uses his cover as a movie star to get him into countries to carry out covert missions. When his latest mission goes south and he realizes his cover has been blown, not knowing who to trust he goes on the run back to the US.

Jenna Walters realized that the jig was up on trying to get information for the FBI on her assassin husband. She things she has enough time to get herself and her son away before he comes home. When he suddenly comes home sooner than expected she decides to hide in the movie star’s house next door as his is never home.

When Jack realizes that Jenna is in about as much trouble is he is he vows to get her and her son set up with new identities. But with so many people out to get both Zach and Jenna the action and peril they constantly find themselves in keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Zach has always been a little estranged from his family believing he was the reason his father was killed but when his life is on the line they all band together. There are many plot twists and the author does a great job of working them all an eventual intersection that leads to a explosive conclusion.

Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha - Michelle L. Olson:
*ARC received from the author in exchange for an honest review

I'm not generally a Romantic Suspense reader (I read Paranormals, Fantasy, Horror & Mystery). In fact, Behind the Lies was only the 3rd RS I've read. Ever. With that said, it was like the best action/drama movie on paper and utterly thrilled!

Zach, oour hero, is the assumed slacker & wild child of the Montgomery clan - a well known actor, but also an infamous CIA Agent. His cover gets blown, there's a price on his head, and things just wtart to spiral out of control.

Our heroine is an abused wife and devoted mother trying desperately to find a way to make a new life for herself and her son. in attempting to escape her psycopathic husbamd she ends up in her superstar neighbor's pool house, irrevocably meshing their fates.

Behind the Lies was 'Truth, Justice and the Montgomery way', where blood is always thicker, and rules were meant to be broken! :) it was tense, action-packed, and thrilling, and while I did see some of the outcomes, it was no less fun getting there.

LITERAL ADDICTION gives Behind the Lies 5 Skulls and would definitely recommend it!

Very exciting plot with it coming together in an interesting way at the end. Best feature of the book was the child, Sam, who seemed like a real five year old and processed what was happening in a believable way. Zach and Jenna are a good duo - they bring the best out in each other and make a good team. Very violent ending is well done and kept me turning the pages but was almost too much.

My biggest complaint with this book is it is 2 of 2! What about the other brother? There should be more stories. The two books books I read we're well written with good interaction between the brothers...there are four more brothers...and the fathers secrets to uncover. You write the rest I'll buy them!

Zach Montgomery has stayed away from his family since the death of his father 5yrs ago. Unbeknownst to his family, he’s not just a Hollywood actor, but also a CIA operative. On the way back from an op in Afghanistan, someone tries to kill him. He survives and makes a quick stop at his Lajoya home and inadvertently picks up passengers. Jenna has discovered that her husband is an assassin and is about to leave when he returns home early...she takes her son and hides in the neighbor’s back yard. Zack only intends to spend a few minutes grabbing essentials to lay low until he figures out who’s trying to kill him. He is interrupted by his neighbor, who is searching for his wife & son. His intuition tells him that something’s off with the guy and he doesn’t do much to help. 16hrs later, Zach arrives at his mountain cabin, only to have his truck stolen by a woman! A chase ensues down the mountain and the pickup crashes. Zach saves the woman and son and recognizes them as his missing neighbors. Now Zach and his neighbors are on the run from assassins...will they survive? Will Zach give in to the growing attraction for his neighbor? What’s the connection between Zach’s assassins and the attempted murder of his mom and family friend, SWAT commander Garrison? So much drama...and time’s running out! Great book and great series so far! Now on to the next book!

I really liked this book, but I think that there could have been more scenes with other characters and the plot was a bit vague in places.

I liked Jenna and Zach. I liked how they met and how they slowly got to know each other.

Zach’s mission goes wrong and he’s going into hiding. At the same time, Jenna has finally had enough of no one helping her and runs away from her assassin husband with her son. Zach decides to help her, but several complications arise, and they have to try to survive.

There were quite a few things going on at once, which made some of them feel kind of vague. Brad (Jenna’s husband) is after Jenna, Zach is trying to stay alive after his mission, Brad is also getting more contracts, and there is the plot about Zach’s last informant.

Most of the book was in Jenna and Zach’s POVs, but there were some scenes told from Brad’s, Anna’s, and Farzam’s POVs. I think I liked seeing Anna’s POV the most even though there weren’t many of them.

There were side characters, like Sam and Zach’s family, but I wanted to see more of them, maybe in an additional chapter at the end.

I liked this book, so I want to continue with this series, but I really want to see more character interactions.

By the numbers

This was a very typical story for this genre, and I didn't dislike it, but it was pretty predictable from start to finish. It also lacked a bit of spice in the romance department we could have amped that up a bit more but I'm coming to understand that's just Robin Perini's style like she throws you exactly one spicy scene at 75% and the rest of the book is googly eyes. I have no problem with googly eyes but if your going to make the romance take a back seat to the suspense make the suspense suspenseful. Instead we get flash back redemption arch for vilian number 1 and a super stereotypical middle eastern terrorist type for vilian number 2. Also the whole twist with the CIA handler....not a twist called it from the beginning of the book like I couldn't have been less surprised during that reveal. The kid did majority of the emotional lifting for the story and the female main character was just sort of there. She had like 2 moments where her "tragic upbringing" influenced her ability to take action (hotwiring the car and picking the handcuffs), but otherwise, she was just kind of along for the ride.

An RP. Mystery Action Thriller (AMJNB. - 2)/International Spy/Escape

RP. has. penned the second novel in the Montgomery Justice series. The second undertaking of the active sky where a young mother discovers he husband is an international assassin. She takes the boy and runs. Her objective is to find another life for her son and herself. She remains incognito until running into one of six brothers where she feels safe. As her safety grows she is befriended by one of the brothers. Then he comes. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Enjoyable read that held my attention throughout. Audio version was excellently performed. Figured out the main bad guy by halfway through but still enjoyed the story. Sam is a little darling! Don't remember much if any profanity. One sex scene and miscellaneous moderate violence with serious physical harm or death ensuing.
What I consider a nice light read but not a fluffy read (like cozy mysteries).

Good interaction with Montgomery family, fighting international crime and romance back home,

I liked the family relationship and their respect for doing the right thing. I really liked the fact that the traitors and terrorist were destroyed. I liked the happy ending and lead into the sequel. Of course, that makes me a conservative American!

Exciting continuation of series

The beginning captured my attention with the Patrick Montgomery, their father. Zach has led a secret life and now it's all imploding around him. Jenna meets Zach and everything changes in her life. This action packed and even has a few sexy scenes. Very good series.

A terrifying road to love

In the end, family love beats greed, terrorism, and abuse. Such a difficult set of secrets and betrayals at high levels. This story took me through all the ups and downs, the frightening decisions that needed to be made... And, finally, a well-deserved happily-ever-after!! Ohhh, and there are more brothers for future stories!! Highly recommended!

Behind the Lies

A very strange and twisted story, until you realize it isn't a mystery story but a real discription of our world today with made up names. We live today under so many lies just like this story. In the story the good guys won, wish that could be true in real life.

Behind the Lies

This was more than a five star book. I would have given it more than five stars if there were more. Great thriller. A must read .This is a very good series. I highly recommend it.
