This book is a wonderful foray into the most introductory concepts of western philosophy. By combining short fictional stories with thought provoking examinations of different philosophical questions Davis is is able to help the reader explore questions that have forever been a part of man's world. For a student who is just beginning his examination of philosophy this book is a must read.

I really enjoyed the short stories in this text and the textbook-like bits were easy to follow and understand.
