An experienced television journalist provides a comprehensive guide to every episode in the first three seasons of The X-Files, portraits of the stars and their characters, and an A-Z encyclopedia of everything related to the show both on-screen and in the real world. Original.
I had this book many Christmases ago. It was a great read. Obviously it couldn't cover the whole show but for what is in there, you can't go wrong. Highly recommended for fans of the show or sci fi.
I don't usually find unauthorized companions, compendiums or biographies very useful as, most often than not, they only want to cash in on something rather than truly inform the reader. Here, Ted Edwards has actually done his research, interviewed most of the writers, producers and directors, and has managed to put together something that is not only entertaining, but has actually told me things I did not previously know about a show I have followed pretty closely. I ignored this book when it first came out but I will probably hunt it down and add it to my reference collection. Worth a look for fans of the show!
Back when I was just a wee, burgeoning X-Files fan, I remember reading this book. I remember reading it, but I remember nothing about the content. Why did I even have this book? Where did I get it? I don't know. Later, I think I sold it at a garage sale.
