Stoudt provide a very good translation of Schwenckfeld's Passional and Prayer book. Schwenckfeld wrote several prayer booklets. This one has readings from the Passion of Jesus Christ along with prayers associated with each of the readings. Each prayer illustrates the intense interest Caspar Schwenckfeld had in the person of Jesus Christ as well practical application of his life for the Christian.
The wording is difficult for a modern reader. Currently, there is a project that is developing within the Schwenkfelder denomination that will modernize the translation so that it is more accessible to a wide variety of people.
