To be clear I have never seen the series Alias, nor have I ever read anything related to the books either. I read this book strictly out of curiosity and being another work by Sean Gerace. For what it's worth the story read just as I visualized a television show of its reputation, all circumstances being more than a bit unbelievable with an extra serving of cheesiness. I'm not knocking the genre, it's just not for me. However, I did enjoy the fast-paced read and was glad to see an additional work by Gerace. I wait in anticipation for Gerace to produce a work more aligned to his genre such as 'Special'. My 3 stars do not reflect the authorship but instead for the content. Sean Gerace's writing is north of 4 stars with 5-star potential. And I'm sure he will achieve all that and more as he reveals more of his work.
