Is anyone else as excited by this book as I am? It seems like we've been through so much together with our Triad and now there are a full five and two babies on the way. The emotions of each are so spot on, they just pulled me into the story like I'm right there. Truthfully, between yáll and myself, I wish a truly stern Dom would get ahold of Georgette and spank her bottom until she couldn't sit for a week!!! But, that's for another day I guess. Klempner has me intrigued here and I would really like to know his mind set and thoughts, although I'm surmising and guessing here. My mind is racing over the mystery doctor who was asking about Charlotte trying to figure where he ties into things. I can't wait to see where this goes next.

This book continues the story of Charlotte, her Master James, her husband Michael, her cousin Beth, and now her new husband Richard. It's a complicated love relationship for sure, as Beth becomes Michael's wife as well. The book describes Charlotte and Beth's pregnancies, especially Charlotte's - with all the ups and downs of pregnancy. I guess the thing that struck me most was the shockingly surprising ending which will lead to the next book! I highly recommend this engaging continuation of the story that has been so well told by the author.

Charlotte and Beth are both pregnant. Can running to the bathroom, getting fat and being hormonal be sexy? The family of 5 joins together to support each other while Mitch struggles to not be in the way. On another front is Klempner. He’s running around trying to right old wrongs but will it come back to bite Charlotte?

This is the continuation of Charlotte, Michael and James. But now her family has grown. Her mother Mitch and Richard and Beth make up the rest of this chosen family. This book is from James POV. It goes through the weeks of pregnancy as Beth is also pregnant but not as far along. Interesting things start happening and I cannot wait for the next book in this’ series.

I have read all the books in this series. I was hoping Simone Leigh would continue the series with Charlotte’s pregnancy. As in all of Simone’s books there are twists and turns you might not be expecting. She always leaves you wanting to read the next book. Simone is one of my favorite authors so I am eagerly waiting for “Ransom”.

Loved this new installment of the Triad
I am thrilled by the continuation of Charlotte’s story and the merger of the Triad with Richard and Beth. I felt like I was going through Charlotte’s pregnancy with her! But Klempner’s new lease on life has you wondering what is his end game? Mitch takes to mothering Charlotte and discovers her talents. The ending is an epic cliffhanger and I can’t wait to pick up Ransom, the next installment!

This look in on Charlotte leads to another mystery. I cannot wait to see where this is going to go next. You can really feel as if you are there and who you are dealing with. I laughed at some of the antics and wondered why Klempner was where he was. You really start to think about why things happen.

They’re back!!! I thought it was over and I’m so happy Simone kept it going. Wow, what a way to come back!!! What’s Happening??? What is Klempner up to? Is the family now a ménage a cinque? I love how Charlotte’s mom has settled in. So much has happened and so much still to come. I can’t wait!!!

BOOK:-TARGET-THE MASTER'S CHILD PART ONE BY SIMONE LEIGH.
BOOK REVIEWER-OKOKO AYEZU TAMARAPREYE.
SYNOPSIS:-
A short poetic style novel of obstretics and gynaecological medical science and technological health care told using the main characters Michael,Richard and Charlotte as we see Michael married to Charlotte (pronounced "CHA-LAW-T " with CHA for Catholic Health Association;Law; and T for perfect or large amount) and Richard(RI- CHA- D as pronounced with RI for "eat" ;CHA for Catholic Health Association;D for "presence of" in Ikwerre. In the story we see a pregnant Charlotte being expectant in childbirth in an agreement that their first child would be "Richards" with the resultant birth of the expected baby girl which they named Cara(pronounced CA-RA with CA for "sorry" and RA for sell or No to mean"Sorry sell" or " No-sorry".It raises questions whether one should be bothered about a babies sex or whether the baby is healthy and whether sex during pregnancy is healthy. The story looks at virginal birth and the turning of the baby in Charlotte, head first, correct position. Some may want to link the head first position to putting the head ,leader or father first drawing a link with medicine and leadership/family.
LESSONS LEARNT FROM THE STORY READ
🤸Having a skill and selling ones skill to earn in one's own right and avoid being dependent.
🤸The need for Rountine pregnancy checkups.
🤸Regulation of financial institutions to curb failed banks and ensure we have trust worthy banks
🤸Preparing for pregnancy and birth and buying baby cloths.
🤸Necessity for a woman to have her own money.
🤸The book exposes the dependency and helplessness of being pregnant for the woman as we see in Michael's support and being there for Charlotte.

This book begins a new story ARC for Charlotte and her lovers/husbands, family, and friends. That said, if you haven't read the Buying the Virgin, Mastering the Virgin, and Charlotte's Search series, you won't have all the history of the characters, and you likely will be confused. I wouldn't start here. After her marriage to James and Michael, having found Mitch, and expecting her first child, everything appears rosy for Charlotte...but of course it is never that easy. There is more danger and drama, and as always, the dreaded cliffhanger... This author's stories are always emotionally charged and intense, with lots of twists and turns. After that cliffhanger, I am looking forward to the next book. Fortunately they come out pretty fast.😁.

As Charlotte‘s pregnancy proceeds, I enjoyed the rotating point of view of many of the characters. Larry is a bit of an enigma though. He seems to have an agenda while at home a threat still lurks around Charlotte. With this cliffhanger ending, I look forward to finding the answers to these questions in the next novel.

The triad are in the midst of Charlotte's pregnancy. Her cousin Beth is also expecting. There are plenty of drama going around with the gang. Klempner is around with the secrets. They have a unique living situation but somehow, they make it work. Simone always writes a story that takes you beyond the norms.

This is an outlier for me - not usually into the poly-stories but wow, this is a great start to what will likely be a gripping and educational (for me) read! Fans who already read Simone Leigh will probably smile at my initiation to her works, but boy can she write a steamy set-up and seduction scene!!.

Ready for More

After the childhood Charlotte endured, you hope for a wonderful pregnancy and enjoyable time for her during her first pregnancy. The saga continues with suspense as she is targeted right before the baby is born. Ready for the next book!

CLIFFHANGER

2 in one
Confusing while I read.
Intriguing for both with cliffhanger.
Some parts are quite disturbing.
Also storyline is conflicting because I read the first book of this series and it DEFINITELY INACCURATE ACCOUNTABILITIES.
