I read this within 'Now is a new no' as the first part, and I'll be honest when I say that it is the weakest among the four parts of the collection. However, it provides the foundation for all the parts that come after it, and the gradual build-up in complexity and insight as the book kept going only made me appreciate 'The Collapse of What Separates Us' more as the book went on. 'Now is a new no' as a whole gets a 5, but for this particular section, I'm keeping at at 4.
