A really good book and a must have.

It's a good reference book after the first read. It's a must have for the beginner. I recommend to read and have the pi on, that way is easy to understand and learn on the go. The writer take you by the han and guiding you step-by-step through all the basic process.

A large portion of this book is a tutorial about how to use the Raspbian linux distro (how to install software, navigate through the command line, use vi, etc..). The writing style is very good, but I was hoping for more focus on the Raspberry Pi specifically and not just about linux in general.

The two best chapters were near the end of the book. One of the chapters talks about how to link a webcam up to the Raspberry Pi and the other chapter talks about how to use your raspberry pi as a home theater system.
