Enjoyed this short read on the life and adventures of Marco Polo. I would like to read his actual writings now myself in light of this information. Additionally, it was interesting to note the last chapter's discussion of Cheng Ho (known also as Zheng He) the somewhat controversial yet celebrated explorer/eunuch of the Ming Dynasty and topic of several other books I've been reading by Gavin Menzies (1421, 1434). Love the way these bits of info criss-cross in your reading experience if you happen to take note!
