Wheewww Mahogany & Focus took me through the ringer but I couldn’t stop reading. Focus is truly that dude. Mahogany really almost fumbled the bag a few times. This book has spice, drama, suspenseful elements and a lot of family dynamics. I enjoyed it!

Omg this book was so frustrating 🤣🤣. Focus was pure perfection. I love every second of him. This back and forth between him & Mahogany was annoying lol. They could not even seem to communicate effectively lol and it wasn’t cute banter just hot tension & “do it my way” attitudes lol. I was afraid they were never gone figure it out!
I enjoyed how over the years Focus provided for & protected Mahogany, even though he was trying to keep his distance. He still felt she belonged to him. Overall this was decent read.

A very intriguing love story!! The love Tobias had for Mahogany is an unconditional love many desire!! His protection and affection over the 10 years says I love you without the words. Plus there was crazy outside parties trying to break up the love!! Read this to find out who has a hit out for Mahogany!!

One Focus
I loved Tobias and Mahogany!! They were both too stubborn for their own good but the way they just fell into each other felt right. I still can’t believe they waited so long to be together. I didn’t see that plot twist coming at all so that was well done. I hope to see them in future books!

Yes and yes to Focus and Mahogany. Even tho it took them a lil long to get it together I enjoyed reading about this couple. Focus did not play bout that girl. That man was unhinged and trigger happy lol. You couldn’t even side eye Mahogany which I’m all for. Mahogany stressed me out a lil here and there but her stance was a lil understandable. Kelly behind was crazy as hell. Didn’t expect the plot twist. Overall enjoyed the storyline.

Focus Focus
This started out kind of slow, took till about 30% in before for the story to progress. The first part just felt like a bunch of random occurrences of dropping bodies. I get the why but my point still stands. I think I would have preferred more sexual tension moments instead. But once we got there this was perfection. I also wish he would have used his words, Tobias spent so much time doing that he never told her how he felt. Several other characters broke it down for her but he never really did, and that was a little disappointing. Focus was crazy to the point of being hilarious and yes Mahogany ain’t no Monica but she was still pretty awesome. I always appreciate and sympathize with a workaholic. The subplot was really good, even if it got overshadowed quite a bit by the romance, in the end, again it was perfection. Especially because my girl made an appearance doing what she does best. Monica is the type of character that will have you stalking and author hoping for bonus scenes and cameos. I need to read at least one more book to be sure but Aubry is on her way to my “go to, slump buster, clutch,” author list because she writes great characters that you want to get to know. I would read a story about everyone mentioned in this story.

I really wanted to like this, but I didn’t. I didn’t even finish the book.
The story doesn’t have a meaningful conflict keeping the two main characters apart.
The protagonists don’t have a real reason not to be together because everyone except Mahogany and Kellye herself understand that Kellye and Focus aren’t together.
The first 70 or so pages of the novel are aimless. They try to give background and characterization but it’s messy and there’s a lot of killing and carnage for no reason alongside the introduction of characters who don’t necessarily need to be introduced.
The romance is supposed to be a pining from a distance, slow burn type of love, but comes off very insta love in the most juvenile way because the plot is mapped out so poorly.
Overall, there’s a lot of telling and very little showing in this book.
One compliment I will give it to the author, the sex scenes are quite steamy and Focus’s dialogue during them is good.

This whole book is essentially a miscommunication trope and its annoys my soul.
MMC has no real reason for not being with the FMC. He loves the girl but plays the backstage and protects her. All the while, dealing with other women. The main one being a female that he doesnt even like. He warns her mutliple times to leave him alone or his unalive her but never takes any real action. Doesnt block her, doesnt tell media or even the FMC that she is a liar. Doesnt even tell the FMC, she's in danger.
FMC annoys my soul. She never actually tell him how she feels. She's quick to get angry but never wants to speak her mind. Then she gets angry and lashes out.
One simple conversation could have cleared up so much.
Hindsight, the MMC's unhindged behaviors and flash backs from their history is what carried the book. Their flashbacks made me invested to want to see them have a happy ending.

Yeah This Is Good!!
This was just fantastic from the beginning to end. We are witness to a grand love affair and a love for all time. I love when a man lets his women know she is his world.This story has everything you want and more,the fact we a psycho pretend girlfriend (in her mind),is like icing. I love the characters, they come off so effortlessly with every scene and let me tell you it is just so fun to watch it play out.Now there was just one thing I didn't agree with,but I understood and that was killing Mink. I would have loved to see that relationship with him and Monica play out on some kinda friendship. I mean sometimes he could have come to her rescue (maybe got a quiet thankyou). Overall you gone.just.love this!.I look forward to reading Shamans story.

Wait for Me
The wait was long for sure for Focus and Mahogany but I can't say the glimpse of their ride was not everything. The way they both were there for each other but not really there. Focus did not play about One at all whether he was close or far. I believe my favorite part was when he actually showed her just how much. They both had their stubborn times but I feel like they came into each other lives fully at the right time. Of course I loved Monica and Baby because they always on go. It's crazy how everyone was connected though because I really did not see that ending. I really would have liked to know how the Numbers got their names though because I don't think it has been mentioned but really like this story!!!

Focus Wasn’t Playing!! Mahogany was his girl without out her even knowing. He did everything for her. Knocking people off for her. Mahogany got on my nerves at times, but she is a great clothes designer. She called Focus by his real name Tobias because Tobias and Focus two different people wrapped up in on body. Apple worked my nerves so bad, like Mahogany should have been lucky to have her for an assistant. Kellye is sociopath and a psychopath because she feels nothing for the people she’s hurt and wants revenge on them. Baby and Monica are a killer couple. Nine made Mahogany realize that she was wrong for judging Focus and not hearing him out. This is why he told her to get out. They got it figured out, now they got a house, dog and a baby on the way.

This one was knocked outta the park! Another bad creation! Tobias and Mahgoney were that couple. They had a ten year history of this sexual tension. They both wanted one another but neither were courageous enough to to for it. I liked seeing Baby and Trenches in this story. The Numbers were an interesting addition to this story, and I hope that they all get a story, like Zero. I have been reading the stories outta order so I get mixed up sometimes. Si many stories to wait on....I'm looking for Domo and Aurora's part 2 and Krude's and Megan's story. This author is awesome!

I absolutely loved me some Tobias. He is book bae for real. He's a mix of my Ricky AK and Tony Wacko and I love it. He played absolutely no games about his lady. I liked Mahogany. Towards the end she irritated me for not hearing bae out but I'm glad she listened to nine and didn't waste anytime figuring it out with bae. I'm soo glad I came across this 5star read because they are becoming more and more hard to come by. I knew Kelley crazy ass was the culprit. Anyway great read. If you thinking of reading it then definitely get it.

Ms. Angry J you did it again I love it from beginning to the end. Without spoiling the book let's just say Tobias was the man a true protector even though he didn't always go about it the right way he definitely was doing out of pure love. I'm so blah him and Mahogany got their happy ending because boy o boy the drama they went through and the hate Mahogany had from the haters. They overcame all of that. It was good to hear about Trenches and Baby glad they are still together and got married. Great love story!

I loved, LOVED Focus and Mahogany’s story 💛 just like with every book of yours I’ve read, I finished it in one sitting and did not let my attention stray at all❗️ Focus was certifiable, but not in an overbearing way and Mahogany is #goals. I adore their relationship 🫶🏽 and how all of their character’s stories are interwoven 🤌🏽🥰 I side-eyed Apple & Kellye the whole book and wasn’t surprised, but was very happy about their um endings. Lol. This is definitely a MUST READ and will be read many more times 🤞🏾🫶🏽 Thank you for all of your great reads !!

Tobias and Mahogany’s story did not disappoint!
Gahh! These books eat and are so thrilling! Just mad Tobias never did finish that song 🎵 "wait for me." Love his chemistry with Baby. Glad for some more Armani and Monica. If those Goons knew like Looney did, they would've taken Monica out when they had a chance, cause she cleaned out house. LOYALTY OVER EVERYTHING.

Wow Tobias loved Mahogany for 10 years, yet she never put two and two together. He was willing to do anything for her even kill anyone who presented a threat or got to close. Kellye and her goofy cousin Apple were so crazy and delusional, in the end they met with a horrible fate! Truly Focus/Tobias didn't play about her. It took a lot, but in the end they finally got it right and got their HEA! Those cousins of hers and his friends were always ready to let their guns talk!

That Mr Tobias ‘Focus’ Eaton was a whole total 😂 unhinged devoted ( well let's be honest obsessive) lol I loved the book though, had me hollering laughing, pissed, even got a little misty eyed and ready to fight folks 🙄. Had me going through all my emotions.
Favorite part of book is ::: when he kept asking are you hungry? Like he didn't just mess up her wall, so all mahogany could do was laugh and shake her head. Had the nerve to ask is he slow or crazy?

It's All Love When Your Love Is Your Protector
Aubry, I loved Mahogany and Tobias. It was such a good read with Juvie st enough drama and mess. Although, I figured out the culprit early on the reason was so good behind it. I tell you love will make you do crazy things. Tobias was good and crazy though, in a good way. I really enjoyed the read. Mahogany cousins reminded me of my brothers. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Surprise Surprise
So I read Trenches first and decided to read Wait on Me just for an update on Baby and Trenches ONLY! I did not expect to love Mahogany and Tobias more 😭 So many screws was loose in Tobias head. I swear he ain’t right at all but I love him so much & I’m gone stick beside him 😂 I love that it was always him make sure Mahogany was good! This was good 10/10 recommend! Aubry J, girl you got me in a chokehold right now but I’m not complaining 😂🥰

It's love at first read for me. He had me from the first time his name came into the storyline. Don't play no games about his woman. I couldn't sleep without finishing the story. Although I love all the characters, this one touched me differently. I understood why he didn't tell her about the hit. Hopefully their first child be just like the Dad,boy or girl.glove this whole crew. Ready for my next one. You're one of my top five. I'm Definitely A fan.😍🤗😁😍

Aubry J. has a new fan thanks to this book & Trenches. When I️ tell you Focus & Mahogany’s story had me locked tf in! I️ mean locked in! The plot twist and drama was so good without being too much. I️ definitely enjoyed reading and seeing the developing love of the 2 main characters. The fact that he’d always been there for her was just too sweet 🥹. Frfr just read the book! But start with Trenches 1st!

This book was absolutely incredible! The way Focus loved on Mahogany was so pure and heartfelt—it was everything. And that plot twist? Crazy! It had me on the edge of my seat. As for Apple and Kellie, yeah, those chicks definitely had to go—they brought way too much drama. But Focus? He’s the real MVP, the kind of man we all need in our lives but don’t even realize it until he’s there. Such a well-written and captivating story! Highly recommend it!

When I say Focus was on one… he was ON ONE! Lol…clearly he stood by “find out if you want to”. This book was a ride and I enjoyed how Focus took care of Mahogany, from a distance… & the extent of it… yeah, he truly loved her, no doubt! This book also showed “be careful who you wrong because you don’t know the extent those connected to them would go to get revenge”. The suspense was real & I myself was wondering who was the person responsible!

That damn Tobias
Man this dude was a mess but he loved Mahogany like no other. I would agree with her that their communication skills are lacking but I am happy to see that they are trying. Overall I love this story of a man who loves his soulmate from the sideline but once he was able to get in he was full steam ahead.

Focus was the truth he took care of Mahony without her knowing I understand his reasoning but communication is always key. Kellye took revenge to an whole nother level now she can go be with her King because Mahony didn't do anything but be herself it wasn't her fault that men fell in love with her, great story.

This was equally as good as Baby and Monica’s story. The numbers crew definitely piqued my interest.
I’m a fan and will be checking out more of her work. Specifically the Numbers family. I need to know more about these people.
