Two-Faced This book is about twin sisters---Charlie and Sammie. They are almost identical. They are good tennis partners. It describes the process of they quarrel with each other and make peace. Charlie do the wrong things for her friend and get her sister Sammie in trouble. That is really a bad thing! However, I think having quarrel between sisters is normal. I always have quarrel with my younger brother. And then, we make peace after realizing the fault. Those will be the good memories when you grow up. The author used simple sentences to let us make sense. Also, the author created two almost real characters and the story background accords with reality.
this book had great morals and an amazing storyline paired with it. i loved it from start to finish, and the characters were so relatable. this book felt like such a comfort read 🤗🫂
To start off, I want to acknowledge the author for switching POV's with this book.
In the first book, it was Sammie's (one of the twins) POV; and now it was Charlie's (the other twin)!
At first I didn't really like Charlie but it's great to see both of girls's ideas and thoughts. You get two perspectives that are much alike but seen very differently.
For example, in "Almost Identical (Almost Identical #1)" you have Sammie telling you how it's like for her to be in her own body and skin, she gives herself a tough time and is always open-minded. She made Charlie seem like a sister who didn't defend her and who picked her friends over her twin. But, with the second book, "Almost Identical: Two-Faced (Almost Identical #2)", you see how Charlie does defend Sammie but Sammie doesn't see it as that. I notice that Sammie is an emotional person but is tougher, and Charlie is a logical person but more sensitive.
I see a resemblance between Charlie and Sammie with my sister and I, though we're not twins; because we are so much alike but completely different people, in a way.
I am amazed how peer pressure was presented in the book and how important it is and how the consequences were shown.
It's such a good read and I would've loved it to read at a younger age, I needed it then.
Now looking back, it seems as (even though, I've learned from previous mistakes) it is teaching/showing me a lesson on when and how to do the right thing!
This book was one of my favorite books! It just go you going, and the book would make you make faces, and show emotion. I learned never to steal because you can be more in trouble than you think. You won't only get a punishment from school, imagine your parents punishments. I thought that this book was showing to stand up for people. Like how Sammie was trying to stand up for Charlie, so she could be ungrounded. I really liked Sammie because she is so nice, and is a friend to everyone. I would recommend this book to girls, and likes to be suprised.
I really liked this book! It is the second in the series to one I read earlier this year. It was basically the same concept, but just different things happening. In this book, it is told by one of the twins, Charlie, who gets guilted into stealing a test for a friend to cheat so she can go to a party. She gets in big trouble, by the principal and by her parents, and learns that she shouldn't ever do anything like it again. She gets lots of punishments, but everything ends up okay.
These books are about two identical sister and in this book they are growing up and growing apart. the SF2's are the cool clique. They want Samantha, Charlie's sister, in the group, but not Charlie. They soon realize that even though they are identical they want to go down their own road and not do everything the same way. The book shows that these two sisters are not all that identical after all.
