Very fascinating! It was my first time reading explicitly anarchist theory. I probably should’ve introduced myself with something else, but this was still interesting. The essay on alternatives to EMS was especially thought-provoking. The essay on UN climate summits was scant on details of the actual specifics of those meetings and made the conclusions the author came to feel thin. There was a tremendous amount of heart at the core of each piece of writing (unsurprising for an issue focused on community care). Lots to stew on and definitely makes me want to read more classic anarchist theory. If nothing else, it’ll help me make more sense of what Marx, Lenin, Engels and the other Marxist theorists I’m reading make more sense.
