While I will probably need something more eventually, this was an excellent starter guide for posing people.

While short, the author covered a wide range of situations (not just 'cute girls in skimpy clothes'). Examples were given in simplified cartoon format with a significant amount of humor splashed in.

My main criticism is this is, as the name implies, a 'pocket guide'. I do not consider this a drawback since this is exactly what it claims to be, but I do wish it was longer and went over more of the 'why' of things. While not quite a cookbook it was more in that direction then a 'fundamentals' book. It would be interesting to see the same author apply the style of this book to something more in-depth.
