I go into all of my books with a positive mind, even though I thought the synopsis sounded off to me. Nothing like the main female character already having a boyfriend for a chunk of the story. Well, I thought that this issue was going to be done more tactfully than that. Nope. So, I'm about to go into spoiler time, so reader beware.
Besides what I discussed in the spoiler, the main characters were flat. The writing was lackluster. The plot moved slowly. This ended up in my DNF pile. I just couldn't do it. The more I read, the worse it got, and I have way to many books to read to stay on something like this.
I liked this story except the sexual content was more than I liked. In fact it takes over the story in certain parts. I thought Alex's obsession took over her thinking process and put her in the position she became involved in.It did have a nice ending.
