I think Camilla and Siennas uncle teemed up to get revenge. Camilla because she hated Blake for picking Sienna, and Siennas uncle because he probably didn't want her testimony so he wouldn't get arrested for abusing her when she was a child.

It was Camilla. I think all of us die hard Chasing fans can draw to the conclusion that it was Camilla. I can't wait to see how Sienna will get revenge. And Blake. And what about Chad and Troy's wedding?

Sienna is still not likeable to me but she gets better in the end. Blake again is so alpha but he displays really real emotions like jealousy betrayal and anger which I felt he was more then justified! Great book 3 tho.

This is strangely addicting mess.
Characters are overly dramatic, seem to have no morals, there is a love triangle of sorts, an arranged marriage plot, a man whore, cheating, double standards.
It's an angsty mess in 3 parts.

Thank goodness for the HEA or else i would have been pissed! Unfortunately as much as I was waiting and hoping to give this book 5 stars, I still couldn't. And 4 stars is stretching it. Here are a few things (and in no particular order)...

1. GRAMMAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would rather wait to read a book with 5 star potential than have an author rush it out with numerous misspellings and poor syntax. This is an automatic star reduction in my eyes. Please have someone proof read thoroughly for spelling and grammar. Self published doesn't mean that spelling and grammar don't matter.

2. As much I loved the Chasing series, and thought this was a vast improvement from the last 2 books, it again left a lot to be desired as an avid reader in this genre. There was so much to the relationship with Blake and Sienna that could have been expanded on & not rushed in order to make the overall story better. Sex no matter how hot and kinky does not make for an entire story especially for people who are supposed to be madly in love - soul mates. Please don't get me wrong, I still loved Blake and Sienna, and but wanted more to their story.

3. This couple was always arguing. And Blake not understanding where the jealousy was coming from...um hello Sienna's first love cheated on her and Blake was a man whore before & during their split. Jealousy is a given, considering they were barely together. And the things they did as friends - pastries and shopping days, etc. - before becoming a couple never happened again once they started dating...it was all drama all the time. Of course Sienna was going to be jealous and everyone was going to perceive them as a couple that could be rocked/broken.

4. We all knew that Blake was into some form of bdsm, but it only is a brief discussion before Sienna jumps in head first without actually finding out what Blake wants, and then they have the one hotel encounter and that's it. (and that was really only a small tip of the bdsm that Blake seemed into) No additional dialogue long term on how they plan to explore that side of their relationship, just left it hanging out there.

5. I like the plot twist with Camilla getting Ivanna & Gareth in on the plan to murder Sienna. I think we all figured it was Camilla, but I was figuring her help came from Sienna's aunt & uncle...so good twist, just again, not enough to the story to support this.

6. Would have loved to have seen what happened when Blake confronted or fired Amelia. Show the support of the woman he loved after hearing what was said to Sienna.

7. Was Sienna really trying to kill herself??? (It was my perception and honestly the suicide attempt was a bit redundant considering Chad in book 2) What happened during the phone call with Kyle after Blake found her. Something was missing from the "I don't love you" to when she went to Blake a little while later and they get engaged again.

8. Very happy that Sienna planned the wedding as a surprise for Blake and that moved them into the HEA I was waiting for. The Epilogue was not enough. 3 months later...come on...if that is the end of their story, than show their HEA with them getting all that they wanted...kids, kinky sex and love...not 3 months later unless we are getting future spin off's

The Toby & Lucy portion of this series needs to be its own spin off starting from the beginning. I think I am more enthralled with their story than Blake & Sienna's and it seemed far more thought out and developed.

I have seen growth from book 1 to book 3. I think that Pamela Ann has a lot of potential and can see where she has taken some feedback into account.

It's over, it's finally over!... thank God for that!!

This one takes the whole cake for awful dialogues, Jesus Christ, did I roll my eyes with the absolutely horrendous, asinine, appalling and so very ridiculous things these characters uttered.
And I have no idea where this author is from but it felt like she just threw some british words into some of the conversations to make it sound like the characters were actually british... she failed to convince me.

Looses points for lack of originality, I knew who the bad 'guy' was, good spin on the minions but still not enough to surprise me.
Don't know why but it all seemed kinda... like a remake or something, like I had already read a very, veeeery similar story somewhere else... maybe a little fifty shades?

And what was that little BDSM wanna-be scene?, where did that come from?, what was the purpose of it?... didn't get it!

I am glad it's over, I would not recommend this series but I do think the writing got better throughout the 3 books...practice makes perfect, so keep practicing Miss. Ann... a lot!

Forgot to add... awful work with the spanish and italian, I guess it was supposed to be romantic?, it wasn't... it was cheesy, stupid and the use of both languages was full of mistakes, now, I'm from Mexico and have studied english, french, german and italian as a hobby and I get that I'm no expert, but if I was ever to write a book, I would certainly check my spelling and grammar.

Where to begin?

I loved the first two books in the series. Loved them so much, that I re-read them two weekends ago in anticipation of the this book that was supposed to be released two weeks ago (of course, it wasn't).

description

There were numerous problems I had with Blake and Sienna in this book. For example, their immaturity, distrust of each other, constant fighting, and sometimes awkward sex scenes. For the first 50-60% of this book, I found myself wondering if these two people should be together, which is surprising because I was rooting for them from the beginning. They had a HEA, but even that left me a bit unsatisfied, and I found myself not caring at that point.

description

Another reason for the low rating is the author herself. Now, it's an author's prerogative to release her book when she feels it's right. However, I think it's unfair to the fans to keep promising a date and then pushing it back SEVERAL TIMES. How about you try hard to keep to your promise? To add to that, the book was full of grammatical and spelling errors, and there were many instances of incomplete sentences. This book suffered from a lack of serious editing.

Normally, I don't mind the errors, but for a book that had been pushed back several times, I expected damn near perfection. I was sadly mistaken.

Anyway,

Plot: 3
Characters: 2
Steam: 4
Favorite Secondary Character: Chad
Lease Favorite Character:
Recommended for: Anyone who's read the first two, I guess.
Bottom Line: A disappointing conclusion to a series that started off fantastic.

The release was pushed back numerous times which is a pet peeve of mine. The author has been churning out book after book and her other series got pushed to the top of the priority list so I can understand, but I think more realistic goals should be set before dates are released to the public.

Now, onto the book itself. Pamela Ann's writing is hot but typos are common place and there is definitely an overall rushed feeling as words are missing here and there and the reader is left to fill in the blanks on their own. I don't recall feeling such a disconnect with the characters the last time around. Blake didn't come across as hot alpha male so much as a crass a**hole. The only time I really connected was when Sienna was in utter despair. The story seemed to jump from place to place and I had no clue what was going half the time. Blake would just pop in and then disappear again off to who knows where and the passage of time was anyone's guess.

The one thing I will say is that we got an ending to Sienna and Blake's story. I didn't really enjoy the story getting there but was still happy to see how things wrapped up for them.

On a side note, Pamela Ann has used the same method for surrendering to despair in two books from different series', I think she may have a favorite and it is seriously disturbing....

I wanted to like this book, but it just wasn't there for me! The back story about who was behind Sienna's attack was lost in the shuffle and it was an endless loop of love, sex, anger, more sex and so on. I know all (real) relationships go through their ups and downs but this was all over the place and there were times I had to re-read thinking I missed something. Trust me the sex was steamy and great to read, but sometimes you just need a good story to go along with it and for me that just didn't happen. It felt rushed to me and seemed like the author wanted the book out for fans and didn't give a good enough thought to some of the plot lines and details. The first two books were great, but this was lacking for me!

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! The desperation and love that Blake and Sienna have for each other is magical. The need they have to be completely give to one another is downright envious; passionate is an understatement!

I was surprised that Lucy and Toby's story wasn't resolved but was glad to hear that they may be resolved in an upcoming Christmas book. I was also happy to see Blake and Sienna have a few moments that reminded me of the first book, with Blake feeding her treats as she groaned with delight. lol it reminded me of their friendship.

I'm sad to see the story end but pray that they get pregnant in Lucy and Toby's book... (HINT HINT)

This was a big disappointment, apart that in the end I both hated Blake and Sienna, the storyline was predictable and the end was abrupt. But the biggest fault I had with this book was throwing in italian phrases. I really wish that authors would research better as it is really annoying reading badly translated phrases.

ok...I stuck with the series. Overall, it was a good story, but certain things bothered me...a lot. The Sienna's character was weak, immature and annoying at times. Blake was kind of a dirt bag. But in the end, the HEA was worth the read.

OMG!!!!!!! Pamela Ann you are a genius and my all time favorite author ♡♡
How do I write this review without giving revealing too much??

Being a fan of Blake and Sienna from the start, i loved all the books including all the drama, made me fall in love with all characters and of course the handsome and delectable Blake Knightly.... So for me reading Chasing Paradise was bitter sweet...

The book was amazing and so was the suspense... I read this book in one sitting till the wee hours of the morning because i was so engrossed that i couldnt put it down.... AMAZING!!! Pamela really made you feel every emotion, i was so anxious at times that i thought i would hve an anxiety attack reading the book LOL. i loved every minute.

seeing blake and sienna's love grow stronger, and the fact that they learn what they truly mean to each other and they learned to appreciate that love and not take it for granted. they are my favorite couple. they make u believe in love and second chances ♡

chad and luke... cutest couple ever... wishing chad was my bestie :-D

toby and lucy.... bitter sweet hope they find they're way back to each other... the song that totally reminds me of them would be; Pauly D feat Jay Sean - Back to Love

thank you pamela for an amazing book, this book was definitely worth the wait.... it was an amazing end to a brilliant series.

Definitely re-reading this book :-D:-D:-D

I am counting down the days till I get to read it! I hope that they catch that stupid cow Camilla and I hope that Blake and Sienna don't go through anymore break up issues because that would Kill me :D

I skimmed over prior two novels, lukewarm as writing isn't really my cup of tea, but finished out the series by reading this one yesterday to see the conclusion. Granted the characters are hot, their foreign language endearments are sweet, and the sex is great, but this book was so darn frustrating had to put it down and way away at times.

Seems like every series of Ann's is a slightly immature relationship model where the characters are making up and breaking up every chapter with little to no communication. The sex sizzles, but you begin getting frustrated when they don't put much effort into their relationship development and have jealousy and other distractions always setting them back.

And seriously, the dialog was really unnatural at times. Some of the sex scenes language was actually violent in nature which affected my book buzz. I've read brit lit books, and have never heard the phrases: "'tensing as you unleash your nut inside me, making me yours, marking me with your sacred seed'" or "this cunt was mine to f*ck, desecrate and inevitably demolish" or "I'm going to make you sing like you're in the bloody F*ing opera!" Just really odd overall, I have never seen "nut" referenced in the many romance novels I have read, comical really.

Lastly, plot developments ended abruptly without much resolution only a conclusion if that makes sense.

Finished the book in about 4 hours and I must say I'm a bit disappointed. Yes, there's a HEA but everything felt really rushed and disjointed. There was good times and bad but so much stuff happened that came from no where. I must read if again today and see if its any better for me. After the changing of release dates so many times I thought the book was going to be stellar and it really just felt like she was ready to simply be done with it. Ill update my review after reading it again.

I had hoped this series would improve. Unfortunately I was wrong. This book felt all over the place. One minute everyone was happy, then the next it was back to the usual fighting and jealousy. Quite frankly, this is pretty much a repeat of books one and two, with a little bit of new stuff thrown in.
The threats and the culprits were random to say the least. Then the stupidity of the final act just made me roll my eyes! After the final threat, just minutes before, she agrees to go out regardless? Sorry, it was to far fetched by this point!
As for the sudden terms of endearment from Blake in Italian. Why now? Don't even get me started on the English that was used? Sometimes I thought I was reading a historical novel. Please for the love of all that is holy, research terminology and remain true to the era you are writing in! The British terms were irritating beyond belief.
I don't think I can take any more of the poor plot and research, not to mention the annoying behaviour of the characters. After three books, I find I just don't care enough to continue on. I hate not finishing a series of a book. I always hold out hope that things will improve.
The best part about this book was when Chad slapped Lucy, oh how I wished it was Sienna or Blake he slapped instead. For that reason alone I upped my rating to two stars.

I really, really enjoyed the Chasing series. It's surely not the most outstanding pieces of literature to ever grace this Earth, but I find that I'm perhaps not as revolted as other people may be when it comes to the grammatical side of the situation (well... surely I DO have some standards, but ultimately the plot wins out for me).

Reviewing the series as a whole, the first thing that comes to mind is how gutted and raw I felt throughout the three books, as well as how deeply I felt what the characters were going through. I cannot stress this enough! For me, the whole point of angst is not to cut you open mindlessly. It's to make you feel things. Grammatical errors and mishaps or not, I'm grateful Pamela has made me FEEL! At times I felt like I was being stabbed in the heart whenever bad things happened to either Blake or Sienna (even if their immature ways did get to me at some points), and even when they did something I was LOUDLY yelling at them NOT to do. I felt goosebumps during the angsty parts, and that, for me, is the ultimate sign of how deeply a book is affecting me.

Secondly, despite the fact these books were surely lacking grammatically, I think it's always fair to see things with a glass half full attitude: Pamela Ann has progressed ever since Chasing Beautiful. That first book was a calamity in terms of grammar when put up against Chasing Paradise and any other better written book. BUT, however that may be, I was not discouraged in the slightest. Who has ever been born with full knowledge? You learn as you go... or, as the case may be, as you write. As I said, the plot wins out for me. It was a deep love connection filled with insecurities that only someone who has been burnt by the weight of lying and cheating (as I have, hence why this affected me personally) would understand. It's truly that shattered, broken mirror comparison which fits the scenario perfectly.

If you're undecided as to whether you should read this book or the Chasing series as I whole, I would definitely encourage you to. It's always amazing when a book makes you feel things, instead of just being a basis for you to skim your eyes past. It's a wonderful, gutting experience and you'll know a book has affected you when it guts you to the point of sweating and feeling tears prick your eyes. Yes, ma'am, you do!
I give the Chasing series 4 stars, as the final bits of the book were (for me) quite unnecessary and a bit too dramatic and unrealistic, coupled with the grammatical issues at hand. However, the emotion in the book was what captivated me from the start, and Chasing Paradise did not disappoint.

Thank you Pamela Ann! Go & read, loves. You won't regret it! xoxo

OK, so I'm going to review all three of the books in this series right here.

1st book - It was ok, liked the story line, didn't flow very well but I liked the characters even if they were a little whiney and by the end, I was intruiged enough to read the second book.

2nd book - So this book only got three stars because the sex was beyond HOT! Other than that, I found this book ridiculous! I honestly wanted to tell Sienna, "Pick one you whore!" But since Blake seemed to be bipolar and an even bigger whore, hey, who am I to judge? Seriously, the emotional whiplash in this book was ridiculous. Blake hates her, never wants to see her again, then he loves her and wants to take care of her. Sienna hates him, wants to give Kyle a chance, then she's throwing herself at Blake? WTF! There was more back and forth than any tennis match I've ever seen! I honestly felt sorry for Kyle! But, like any good train wreck, I couldn't look away and proceeded to the third book....

3rd book - So in the beginning and throughout most of this book, I absolutley frickin hated Sienna and Blake! As far as I was concerned, they both deserved to be alone and miserable! Mood swings much? I needed a Zanax to even finish this story! For example, Sienna feels guilty because she causes Blake so much stress and she just wants him to be happy so she's going to walk away, except instead she tries to kill herself (because that won't upset Blake at all and surely will not cause him any undue stress!) and fails and then the sex starts again. (insert eye roll here). The only redeeming quality this book had was the drama that they included over Sienna's life being in danger. I honestly had hoped they would succeed in killing her therefore causing a Romeo and Juliet effect and putting everyone out of their damn misery! But alas, twas not to be.......at least Chad and Luke were happy. Score one for the gay guys! I think the main thing that pissed me off about this one was that Lucy and Toby never got back together.....they were a nice, normal, functioning couple, who had legitimate problems but never stopped loving eachother. But noooooo, make sure the whack jobs have a happily ever after and the normal people can stay miserable! Sounds fair, right?

So in conclusion, this series pissed me off and I'm mad at myself for even getting sucked in to this mess!

“Love is a portion of the soul itself, and it is of the same nature as the celestial breathing of the atmosphere of paradise.”
~ Victor Hugo

Abso-freaking-lutely fantabulous ending to a great series. My emotions were all over the place. Sienna and Blake deserved some sunshine but the clouds just keep blocking it. My heart hurt so much for them. While they were going through the funk they found themselves in I had tears through it all.

I knew that the angst was coming and thought I was prepared for it.

WRONG!!!!!

Holy hell was I wrong!

It hurt so bad!!

Tears streaming down my face, chin quivering, snot slinging, emotional distress.
My heart was was ripped apart and then sweet Pamela put a band-aid on it because she wasn't through with it yet.

Things were going well and then BAM!! She not only ripped off that band-aid she punched me in the gut too. I was distraught. SICK.
I couldn't take it. I laid down my kindle and refused to read anymore.
This happens next....
So here I am sick to my stomach spitting nails and needing to vent so I call on the other Crazies.
They said they'd be there for me during this read.
They laughed at my outburst.

LAUGHED!!
Can you believe this?

It was SO NOT funny!!

I WAS SICK and they're laughing!

Well after I went back and read my little rant it was pretty funny so I can't really blame them.
Oh you shall see what I mean when you get there.

Of course after my rant I picked it right back up and went right back to it because ya know I'm a glutton for punishment. It wasn't over yet. I knew there was more to come and I was hoping for some reprieve from the angst.

So now here we are at the end and all is right in the world. The clouds have moved and the sun is shining.

A brilliant ending to an incredible series.

If you have not read this series I HIGHLY recommend that you do!

Finally Sienna and Blake are together but everything that has happened changed Blake. He’s a little distant in the beginning and I can understand why. Sienna has been through a lot and she needs time to heal, mentally and physically from the horrible fall. Blake has always been overly protective and rightly so. The women in his past are having a hard time dealing with the end of their relationship with him that they go all psycho crazy. Why Sienna doesn’t want to acknowledge that is beyond me. The man is a whole package and then some; she needed to come to grips with that before it’s too late.

Sienna begins to withdrawal from the relationship and with her best friend and ex leaving for good just pushes her over the edge. They struggle to get back to where they once were because they know it’s worth it in the end. We all knew Camilla was bat shit crazy and wanted a picture perfect life with Blake so it wasn’t’ a surprise to any fan of the books that she was behind it all.

In the end we all knew that Sienna would change her mind and marry Blake sooner rather than later. I wanted more in the end (I know Im greedy like that), I wanted to see them with the kids cuz you know Blake would adore his kids like crazy and still worship the ground Sienna walks on.

Pamela Ann, you did it to me AGAIN!

Just when you think you can't fall anymore in love with Blake effin Knightly, Pamela comes at us with Chasing Paradise.

The love story of Blake and Sienna continues .. only this time with much more drama, angst and heartbreak.

Did I cry my face off, yes. Yes I did.
Did I want more. OF COURSE I DID.

The passion that Pamela has while writing this series is 100% displayed in this final installment of Chasing. This book leaves nothing to the imagination and no questions unanswered.

So many things in this book smacked me right in the kisser. I didn't even see them coming. I couldn't put it down. I actually fell asleep on my phone reading this and then woke up, only to finish before I even fed my kids breakfast. Yes this book did that to me!!!

Pam, I cannot say enough how talented you are and how well you write your characters. You are beyond amazing and I am so happy to have shared this experience of Chasing with you. Thank you for giving us EXACTLY what we all needed. Your stories continue to amaze me.

Thank you to Pam's beta's who helped her with this novel as well. You all kicked butt.

If I could read Blake and Sienna FOREVER I totally would. I don't think they would ever get old!!!

These 2 Chicks give Chasing Paradise 5 out of 5 stars. If I could give it 6 I totally would!!!

I just had to start reading this 3rd book straight away.
ive read the 3 books in 3days.
ive felt all sorts of emotions reading this trilogy.
the friendships and the love of each couple had me hooked. they all had their own hardships to overcome.
sometimes, I wanted more information on what they did between the jumps in the time.
also, I would love to have known what kyle and sienna talked about on the phone after the she broke and went to the beach, I can picture it, but I would have liked Pamela ann to tell me what she would have imagined.
we never heard no more about kyle after that.
I was glad with her choice, more than glad.
I would have loved more, toby and lucy :( in my mind are together, where they belong.
I screamed, cursed, cried and was so mad at certain times in all 3 books that I did consider giving up, but I couldn't, instead I read them back to back. lots of if only, but, and why's with this trilogy.
but I can say im finished, im so glad I read it. great story. thankyou pamela ann for sharing it.

Ok so I got the bundle for this series. I have to say this third one was just kind oF "What??? the??? hell???" For me.. First there was almost a complete switch on the dialogue and the use of old school English. I didn't notice that as much in the first two but this one it was kind of over the top. Also this one I was really kind of to the point where I couldn't even stand them together. The where terrible and immature and hateful. That's not a relationship that I would root for. I also had a hard time that Blake would not have instantly assumed it was Camille that was after Sienna. Isn't he supposed to be a genius. And onto Sienna did she turn into a 12 year old in this book? She was so immature and wishy washy it was just annoying. The secondary characters were also a little over the top in their angst in this one too!
