I bought this book because I saw my neighbor making soups and I wanted some healthy homemade options with the new blender he gave me. Well, I can say I enjoyed discovering great recipes in this book. My favorite soups are: Page 69 Maple roasted carrot & ginger soup Page 139 Wild garlic soup Page 155: Onion and garlic soup Page 175 Butternut squash soup Page 222 Chickpea soup.
I like how the first part of the book starts with -Techniques page 12-43 and Planners page 44-61 and then the recipes are sectioned off into the following categories: summer vegetables, winter vegetables, legumes & nuts, fish and shellfish, poultry game and meat, fruit, chess and breads.

I borrowed this book from the library and once I realized I was tabbing every tenth recipe to copy, I decided to buy the book instead. It has a really good cross-section of recipes and I'm looking forward to tackling them in all seasons.

There's an aptness to this book's simple title in its gathering of such a variety of soups into one whole that is greater than the sum of its parts (actually, it's parts are pretty tasty). This is a common go-to in my kitchen and rarely do its inspirations disappoint.

Not as amazing as I wanted it to be, but still good. Will be making a few of the recipes.

As a lover of soup, this book was exciting for me.
As I looked at the pictures in this book, I wanted to have soup every day because they all looked so delicious!

There are three types of stock that provide the basic flavor of soup: vegetables, meat, and fish.
Chicken soup is especially easy to make.

Simply simmer chicken and vegetables together to create a delicious and healthy chicken soup.
It reminded me of my mom often making fish soup in Japan.

And Soup is a wonderful way to warm up and easily incorporate the good nutrition of vegetables and spices into our bodies.

Whether we have a cold and no appetite or an upset stomach, soup is an easy way to get the nutrients our bodies need for the day.

This book explains in detail how to make soup, so I decided to try making soup.
Soup takes time to prepare, such as choosing the ingredients and chopping the vegetables.

Once the preparation is complete, just add the ingredients and spices to the pot and your delicious soup will be ready!
