"Just watch for chainsaws."

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre graphic novel is set after the first movie - the FBI cold case department comes to Texas to look into exactly what went wrong.

The graphic novel is fun and gruesome - it's not anything groundbreaking or crazy, but it's quite entertaining. It's gory, and the art & story were enjoyable.

I think this is a good book for fans, or it could be an introduction to the series for someone. I plan to continue on with the series when I come across the next book!

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Vol. 1 collects issues 1-6 of the Wildstorm Comic series written by Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning with art by Wes Craig.

A sequel to the 2003 reboot, the book picks up one year after the events of the film. The most brutal killing spree in America has become a cold case. The FBI moves in to town to investigate the evidence to try to get the case back on track. But the agents quickly realize the town doesn't want them there, and the killings never stopped.

I was glad to see a story that isn't just a rehash of the movie but the first half of story is much better than the second half. The art is strong when not much is happening but once the action picks up, it's gets very sketchy and character become hard to distinguish.

I honestly don’t know why I read this as I don’t really like the film that much. It was an interesting concept and well done but mostly just gore.
It would be great for fans of the films!

Si no la has visto, ¡hazlo!

I think this is a near perfect graphic novel styled sequel to Michael Bay's Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake. The story neatly adds onto the plot of the film, with some major links and references to this particular movie. The chase sequences with Leatherface are all there in splendor and there is an explosive final confrontation between the heroine and Leatherface in good old Texas style with an ending that leaves it to your imagination.

Now, there is a sequel, which I do not own, but it is NOT a sequel to this graphic novel.

Fan of the film, horror or graphic novels, please read! You will be left thirsty for more!
