More meditations on the sacredness of daily experience by the author of Being Home, Becoming Bread, and Sharing Silence. Gunilla Norris records her observations on the inner life as seen in the turning of the seasons in her Connecticut garden. Journeying in Place is filled with the joy of living.
This is one of those books that came along at the right time. Norris reminds me of Wendell Berry's Sabbath poems. Her reflections are organized by the seasons and it's amazing what she learns by simply being present to the natural world.
