I laughed through pretty much the entire thing. Growing up with the high involvement in the church that we had with my P.K. Dad, I related to a lot of the humor. Especially the chapter about feeding people who pop in unexpected. I read it in one sitting, but it could easily be read chapter-by-chapter as they're not continuing stories.

This was a quick and easy read. It is cute and humorous, but also has some good points.

Very cute. All short stories so the kind of book you can pick up and carry on whenever.

Meh. Stories are quite embellished and the humor seems forced.

After reading "Mischief from the Back Pew", I'd hoped that maybe the best stuff had gone into this first book. Regrettably, I didn't like this one any better.

As a pastor's kid, this book was exceedingly funny; I laughed out loud constantly. This book is the story of two pastor's kids and their family.. various stories relating to church and church activities. I know I just said it, but I'll say it again.. this book is hilarious.

This was one of the few books I did not finish (and I nearly always finish a book even if I don't like it). I am a "preacher's kid" so I could definitely relate to the topic, but it just was not as funny as I thought it would be. I have to say I was disappointed in it.

This book has potential, but it fell short. The authors clearly have warm memories, but they lack the skill to share their humor with the audience. The stories could use some help from a seasoned comedian to liven it up.

I checked this book out at the local library for research for my NaNoWriMo project. One of the characters is the son of a preacher, so I looked into what that life is like. While this book wasn't completely useful for that, it was so amusing I read it twice over before returning it.

Eh. So it's light-hearted reading and good humored, much embellished personal stories of these brothers. Pretty silly. Lol, must be the Colorado in them.

I read this at a nursing home for volunteer hours and they seemed to enjoy the stories from this book. Several of the residents even asked to come back and read it again sometimes. The workeres even seemed to get a 'kick out of it'.
