A pretty useful start for a beginner like me. A bit too UK-centric, and a bit too much information sometimes. Otherwise, a good introductory book.

Basics in stock market dynamics and investments are listed in this book. Improvements may include a more structured analysis and highlights on investment strategies. The book is UK focused so an international flavor would be of wider use.
