Decent high-level planning guide. I do 2-3 corporate events a year so I didn't really learn much. It did make me feel like I was doing something to prepare though. One tip that I wholehearted agree with - get a binder immediately . I lovingly refer to this as my "event Bible" and have one for every event i do. Author said get a hole puncher - skip that. Buy a pack or two of clear protectors and use those to store you docs and contracts. It will keep them in good shape and reduce the chance of a rip. Easier to flip through as well.
I have the logistics part down. I really need a book of ideas and themes. So if you're reading this in the next few weeks (Sept. 2013) and know of anything please reply or message me.
Good quick guide to get a solid understanding of wedding planning without wasting your time. It really helped me get an idea of what was to come! I would suggest coupling it with something like... ohh, the best bridal book ever : Bridal Bargains
There are a lot of typos...which drives me nuts and diminishes some credibility for the author. For all intents and purposes, it was a great place to start the wedding planning. Quick, easy, read, high level info of most aspects of the wedding.
