This is an Age Gap, Different Worlds, Opposites Attract, Princess and Bodyguard Romance.
JK Sullivan has recently retired from the US Army. She is offered an 'easy' bodyguard job protecting British Princess Tabitha who is spending the summer in the US to escape the British media. Princess Tabitha's time in the US is top secret. She will have a different hairstyle and different clothes and be basically unrecognisable as the Princess that is all over the British Press. The one thing JK doesn't count on with this job is falling for the lovely and genuine Princess underneath it all.
Tabitha is so much younger than her, innocent, unspoilt and a Princess. JK should do everything she can to keep away from her... if she can...
JK is retired from the service and is bored. Remembering a friend had started a Bodyguard business. JK is offered an easy job of protecting the Princess Tabitha of England., who is 28. JK is 40. And Tabitha is still in the closet. But... A cute age gap story. And HOT! 5 stars.
Not bad. Pretty hot. Not the best in the series so far, the first was still my favorite, but not bad.
I always like the idea of the cute princess/ Handsome bodyguard relationship, but I do feel like it's been used so much in the last few years I was just thinking I wished there was original ones out there and then I find myself reading this one and I have to say I really did enjoy this one. It of course stays with some of the classic bodyguard-client stereotypes but it pushes those away eventually for a less typical portrayal of that classic romance type. I did like the love-hate they had going on early, but it is soon transitioned into something else. It is also a fairly short read at only 121 pages so it should be easy for most.
We have another addition to the Bodyguard Series. This had a good story and characters. The bodyguard Jk was all muscle and hotness and the client was a young Princess seeking a anonymous life in the US without all the British paps following her. Their connection was exciting. It didn’t have the adventure some of the other stories had but it was still a contender.
What happens if you are assigned to be a bodyguard for a body that doesn't need guarding? The threat level is so low in this book, it has no meaning. At the end, a couple random guys try to abduct the princess. Who are they? Why? Who knows? Oh, she stopped a purse snatcher. Ooo, good job earning your pay there. Also, this writer lives in a world where the British Royal family is fine playing turkey baster with the line of succession to the throne?
So I think this was also a good read the princess and her bodyguard is another book in the series and it is not bad. We have Princess Tabitha our young royal getting to know herself and JK our older Bodyguard on whom it falls to protect the princess. its a nice easy read and this one even has a little angst thrown in.
This series is quite flimsy in the storyline and so full of holes when it comes to any form of reality but I still find myself reading the next in series???
Wow, another knockout I loved the main characters their journey to be together was heartbreaking in parts, but love shined through in the end a must-read congratulations
The fourth in the series & honestly this just felt like a repeat of the previous books with a few changes. And the Queen just getting on a plane to the USA with a few hours notice? It also felt so unrealistic.
