My first teaching position was in Clarkston, Ga. Wonderful to read about our refugee students.

I devoured this book - tried to pace myself and enjoy but couldn’t help but hurry through it. I think the author did a nice job personalizing the political, historical, and often painful components of international migration through the story of teenage soccer teams comprised of new Americans. I am very inspired by coach Luma and the soccer teams she coaches.
