This book is to being a SAHM as "How she really does it" is to being a work outside the home mom. It is an interesting read, and makes me glad I don't have my daughter in daycare, but it really doesn't address the issues professional women face for themselves. Obviously staying home is best for the child, but having a baby really does put women in a tough spot. The bottom line is there is no right answer. You have to do what is best for your family. One thing I have taken home from this book is how important it is for a baby to have a tight, intimate bond with one adult. I am glad I am that adult for my daughter. But I don't know what I am going to do when she goes to school.
