This was sooooo far-fetched at times. The number of life-threatening moments for Max was probably excessive, but the detailed description of every single instant kept me gripped to the story anyway. I wonder why this qualifies as "children's literature". I don't think that's ambitious enough. The content and the quality of its writing make it worth being read by any adult who enjoys a good adventure. I feel kinda sad this is where Max's adventures end. I'd love to read more about him and his family. There's a lot of potential in these characters and I don't quite understand why a movie based on this trilogy hasn't been made yet.
so many parts that got my heart racing thinking things are all over for young Max but I finally finished. the ending is.... can't say too much otherwise I'll spoil the book for you but once again I recommend this book to someone who likes adventures and books that keep the hooked in and keep them reading to the very end :)
Very good ending to the series. I felt like celebrating with Max and his family for being back together again. The whole point of the series is to make the reader aware of the fact that there is people who will exploit the environment, even with a show of being green, just to make money. We should all do our bit to stop the wrongs that is done to the environment

I think I would have enjoyed this book more, if I hadn't had such a long gap between reading this and the first two in the series. It took me quite a while to pick up all the plot threads.
