Miracles in American History offers 32 vignettes of American history. Part of a series, this book leans heavily toward America's early history, calls for prayer at critical times in history, and God's answers. Each account tells the story briefly. The first tells of a hurricane scattering a fleet of French ships that was attacking Massachusetts, following a call for state prayer. The last tells of prayers offered on the moon.

I enjoyed the volume. I wish it would have been available to supplement my history curricula when I homeschooled. Children and adults need to learn history, but perhaps the fact that American history shows a lot of God's intervention is why they took history out of the schools.

Not what I was expecting. Short pieces I would expect to find as filler in a newspaper column where the story was a couple of inches short for the layout. I passed it on to my elderly father who only has attention for short pieces/news paper length stories these days. He didn't find the content particularly enlightening either.
