Great introduction to Astrology explaining step by step how to read a natal chart. It goes into plenty of detail on meanings of Planets, Signs and Aspects and touches on the lesser known areas of chart reading, as someone who had no knowledge on the meaning of any of these it was a real eye opener. Just reading this book will not teach you how to predict the someones future but that's not the goal, what it does do st provide a foundation for reading charts and clearly states the next step is practice and gaining experience to not only know the meaning of charts but learn how to interpretate. It does also give a full interpretation of charts as anexample, very much recommended for those interested but not well versed in Astrology.

It doesn't take 7 years to read :)

I like the clear and concise manner S.M.Farebrother writes. A good book to read if you want to start learning astrology. However, I enjoyed it also as a astrologer with already some experience.
