I used this book as a resource for a class that I taught at our local homeschool pod. Intro to sports medicine students enjoyed learning how to prevent, diagnose, and treat common sports injuries and conditions.

Nowadays, they are using POLICE instead of RICER, bcz resting the injured area for 48-72 hours will make things worse for later

Encyclopedia like

The book is good with many illustrations. It is more geared to physical therapists. Not much new here though. Will use as a reference in the future.

Phenomenal book. First 2 chapters essential for anyone undertaking excercise or sport. The rest are body specific regions on injuries and how to treat them, and more importantly rehabilitation and excercises. Great example stretches and warm ups for different areas. Excellent diagrams too.
