Buddy Moorehouse has been a journalist, newpaper editor and columnist in Livingston County, Michigan, for the past 40 years. This book is part memoir and part collection of great stories and columns from his four decades of writing about the county. You'll find out how the Ugly Naked Guy came to Brighton; you'll learn what the REAL difference is between Brighton and Howell; you'll get the untold story of the epic KISS concert in Hartland; you'll learn the full story of what happened when Hollywood actress Melissa Gilbert moved to Howell; and so much more. It's the memoir of a small-town newspaper editor and a whole lot of funny stories about what happened in the communities he covered.
Really enjoyed this book and laughed A LOT. However, knocking off a star for lots of errors, proofreader’s marks still left in book even after publication. Have to be from the area to enjoy.
